Taarak Mehta Show Going Off-Air Due To #BoycottTMKOC? Asit Modi Replies

The longest running serial of the Indian television, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) has been making news for quite some time now but mostly for the wrong reasons.

Many times we have seen that #BoycottTMKOC has trended on the Internet but recently some rumours started doing rounds that the serial is going off-air. Many fans are already angry with the failure of the makers in brining Dayaben back in the show. Earlier the producer Asit Kumarr Modi promised the audiences that he would bring Dayaben back soon, whether he would rope a new actress for the role or convince Disha Vakani to come back but he would bring Dayaben back.

However, a long time has passed now and the show has also got tangled in various controversies in recent times.

Recently, Asit Kumarr Modi responded to the rumours of TMKOC going off-air and he has made it clear that the show is not going anywhere. He stated, “I’m here to entertain my audience and I will never lie to my viewers. Only due to certain circumstances, we are unable to bring Daya’s character back on time. But, that does not mean that the character is not going to enter the show at all! Whether it is Disha Vakani or someone else, the time will tell. But, it’s my promise to the audience that Daya will be back, and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is going nowhere. It is not an easy task to run a comedy show for fifteen years. It is one of a kind, which has not witnessed a single leap.”

Let’s hope that things get sort out soon.
