Tanishaa Mukerji may not have made it big in the movies but still she is a very popular celebrity and currently, she is entertaining the audiences with her dancing skills in Jhalak Dikhhka Jaa 11.
Tanishaa is the daughter of famous senior actress Tanuja and sister of famous actress Kajol who was one of the highest paid actresses at one point of time. Tanishaa made her Bollywood debut in 2003 with Sssshhh but she grabbed everyone’s attention with 2005 released Neal N Nikki in which she worked with Uday Chopra. The movie flopped at the box-office despite having a good number of kissing and intimate scenes and recently, Tanishaa disclosed that even her sister Kajol hasn’t watched Neal N Nikki till now.
During the interview, Tanishaa stated, “It was too much kissing on-screen. My sister has not watched the film until today. Even I tell my friend’s kids to watch it after growing up a little bit. That conservativeness exists in our country.”
When Tanishaa was asked whether she was comfortable while doing kissing scenes in the movie, she said that it was comfortable for her as at that time, they both (Tanishaa and Uday) were dating each other.
Uday and Tanishaa met during the shooting of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge as Kajol was playing the female lead in the movie and Uday was assisting his brother Aditya Chopra who is the director of the movie.
Tanishaa also did some reality shows before this dance show such as Bigg Boss, Khatron Ke Khilaidi, etc.
