This style of weaving comes from Varanasi, a city known for its rich textile heritage. The craft dates back centuries and grew under the influence of Mughal rulers, especially during the time of Emperor Akbar. Even today, it is considered one of the finest and most time-consuming forms of textile work, making such sarees rare and valuable.
Tara kept her styling simple and balanced, letting the saree take center stage. She paired it with a matching blouse that had a clean and minimal design, without heavy embellishments. Her jewellery followed the same idea—traditional but not overwhelming. She wore a statement necklace, classic jhumkas, and stacked kadas, all of which complemented the outfit without making it look crowded.
