“I told Om Raut and Prabhas that I have not liked your teaser, but…” says Taran Adarsh..
Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush is one of the most awaited movies of the year and Om Raut directed flick is all set to release on June 16. Its trailer got released recently and overall response to the trailer was good so fans are now eagerly waiting for the film to release.
If you remember, the makers got slammed mercilessly after the teaser was launched by the team and recently the film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh gave his opinion in regard to the teaser and the trailer of Adipurush.
In an interview with an entertainment portal, the film critic stated, “After I saw the teaser, I was very disappointed. In fact, at the trailer launch, I told Om Raut and Prabhas also that I have not liked your teaser, but I have loved the trailer.”
When he was asked what he liked in the trailer, Taran Adarsh said, “I liked the trailer in terms of look, in terms of everything its looking nice. I hope that the film works. It’s a very big film. It’s exactly one month down the line in 16th of June its releasing.
I don’t know how the film has shaped up, no one has watched it. I am sure the first premiere would be happening on the 13th of June at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York prior to that I don’t think there would be any screening and then perhaps there would be screening for the media if at all there are and then straight to the audience on the 16th.”

Talking about the responsibility that Om Raut has to fulfill, Taran Adarsh said, “When Ramanand Sagar sahab made Ramayana, there were no great VFX nor the budget that Adipurush has today. So Om Raut has to get it right. It’s a very big responsibility on his shoulders and he needs to deliver it. He needs to deliver as a film and he needs to deliver with numbers also because Ramayana is a big film, you can’t go wrong, and you should not go wrong.”
Ramayana on big screen, sounds exciting, doesn’t it?
