In Nizamabad’s Armoor town, a pink bus was driving along a small path with Telangana officials standing atop. Telangana Minister KTR, also known as KT Rama Rao, nearly lost control of his vehicle as the driver used the brakes. Jeevan Reddy stood by his side and Suresh Reddy who had a spectacular fall displayed in a video.
However, the campaign for the elections scheduled for November 30 went on, and Miniser KTR who doubles as the BRS working president, left to join the Kodangal campaign.
The Minister and other leaders could be seen in the video huddled together on a tiny platform that had been set up above the bus, gripping the railing as it made its way down the short lane.
Men in white T-shirts and khaki pants hurried to each side of the bus, each holding a rope. A security guard could be seen calming the raucous group in front. Leaders were shown in the video toppling over as the driver used the brakes hard at this moment.
A watchful guard saved KTR, but his other commanders did not have the same luck. They were somewhat bruised.
A triangular struggle between the BRS, Congress, and BJP is scheduled to take place in Telangana. 88 of the 119 seats were won by the BRS in the most recent Assembly elections in 2018, accounting for 47.4% of the overall vote share. With 19 seats and a 28.7% vote share, Congress came in a very distant second. On December 3, the votes will be counted.
