Former model Divya Pahuja, 27, is said to have been killed in Gurugram under suspicious circumstances by Abhijeet Singh, the owner of the City Point Hotel, where the crime occurred.
Pahuja has already made waves in the media, though. In addition, the former model served a seven-year prison sentence in connection with a case involving the purportedly staged encounter of Gurugram mobster Sandeep Gadoli.
Reportedly, Gadoli’s girlfriend, Pahuja, was given bail in June of last year. She was reportedly killed on Tuesday at a hotel in Gurugram, some months later.
The connection between Pahuja and Gadoli has come to light once more as a result of the murder.

HOW DID GADOLI AND PAHUJA GET TOGETHER?
Gangster Gadoli first got to know Pahuja in 2015 during the birthday celebration of Manish Khurana, an Arjun Nagar, Gurugram, resident and one of his assistants. Pahuja and Gadoli soon became romantically involved.
Gadoli was shot down in a 2016 Mumbai altercation with Haryana Police. At the time of the incident, Divya was with the thug. She was later accused of giving her mother, Sonia Pahuja, access to Gadoli’s real-time location information, which she reportedly shared with Manoj Gurjar, the brother of imprisoned mobster Binder Gujjar. The information was subsequently given to a few Haryana police officers.
Divya, her mother, and a few police officers were detained after the event for violating several Indian Penal Code (IPC) provisions. Before the Bombay High Court granted them release last year, they were held awaiting trial for seven years.
Actual murder investigation Status
The Gurugram Police detained three individuals after Divya was killed: Abhijeet, the primary suspect, and two other persons, Prakash and Indraj. The police said that Abhijeet had plotted to kill Divya after she had seen a few pornographic films of him, and that was why he was blackmailing her. The police stated that more investigation was in progress and they were confirming Abhijeet’s statements.
