UA Day celebrates efforts for inclusive and multilingual internet on a global scale with a 2-day event

This inaugural UA Day, which is being commemorated internationally, aims to drive initiatives for an inclusive and multilingual internet.

In New Delhi, a two-day event commemorating Global Universal Acceptance Day is currently underway. It was organised by FICCI, ICANN, and the Government of India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technologies. The event’s subject is ‘Delivering Multilingual Internet’ and is part of the #Internet4All agenda.

The first day of the event will include Technical Sessions, Live Workshop Sessions, IDN’s and EAI in Indian Languages – Outlook and Overview sessions, while the second day will include an Inaugural Session, Panel Discussions, Case Studies, a Discussion on Bhasini and Multilingual Internet, and the Valedictory Session.

All seminars and debates are live broadcast on YouTube, Webex, and IT. Voice Media is covering the event live, and spectators may keep up with updates via live-tweets.
