According to reports, Samsung intends to introduce four new products in India. The South Korean tech giant’s following lineup might include three new tablets: the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, Galaxy Tab S11, and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, according to a social media tipster. Additionally, it is reported that a new smartphone is scheduled for release in India. As the successor to the Galaxy A16 5G, which debuted in October 2024, it is anticipated to be the Galaxy A17 5G.

Samsung’s Upcoming Indian Launches

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), tipster Abhishek Yadav shared information about Samsung’s following product roadmap. The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is the first product rumoured to make its appearance. It is anticipated to become a part of the Galaxy Tab S10 and the three-model Galaxy Tab S10 series.

According to rumours, this model, which has an Exynos 1380 processor, may be released as a rival to Apple’s entry-level iPad.

The Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will be part of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series, which comes next. The tipster claims that a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset will power both tablets. Interestingly, the Galaxy Tab S11+ is not mentioned in this leak. The Plus and Ultra variants are part of Samsung’s current flagship tablet portfolio, but they are not the standard.

Therefore, if this information proves to be accurate, the tech giant’s tablet portfolio may undergo yet another change this year.

Moving on to smartphones, it is anticipated that the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G will soon be released in India. According to reports, it contains a 4,860mAh rated battery, which might be marketed as a 5,000mAh device. The alleged phone might be capable of 25W wired rapid charging.

Additionally, according to reports, the Galaxy A17 5G may be the first A1X model to feature a camera that supports optical image stabilisation (OIS). This functionality may be present in a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Last but not least, it is anticipated to come with Android 15 and may receive six significant OS updates, as well as security updates, for a maximum of six years.
