Urvashi Rautela has stirred attention once again, this time with a revelation that blends surprise with reverence. In a recent interaction, the actor claimed that a temple has been established in her name in Uttarakhand, and she now aspires to have another built in her honour in South India.

Speaking in an interview, Urvashi shared, “There is a temple in my name in Uttarakhand. If one visits Badrinath, there is a ‘Urvashi temple’ right next to it.” Her tone turned playful when asked if people actually visit the temple for blessings, as she responded with a chuckle, “Ab mandir hai toh woh hi toh karenge (It’s a temple, they will do that only).”

When Siddharth pressed further about the devotion of visitors, Urvashi wittily added, “Aise chilla chilla ke kaun bolta hai (Who shouts and takes blessings).” She continued to affirm the existence and popularity of the temple, revealing that students from Delhi University also visit and offer garlands to her images. “They even garland my pictures,” she said, mentioning that these students affectionately call her ‘Damdamamai’.

“I am being serious about it. It is true. There are news articles about the same too. You can read them,” she insisted, defending her claims as the host expressed surprise.

Having built a diverse career across various regional film industries, Urvashi Rautela expressed a heartfelt desire to see similar adoration reflected in South India. With her growing involvement in South Indian cinema, she hinted that she would welcome a tribute from her fanbase there, mirroring the admiration she’s received in the North.
