The Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh is pretty excited for the release of his upcoming movie, Amar Singh Chamkila which is scheduled to release on 12 April 2024 on a digital platform.
Diljit Dosanjh talks very less about his personal life and though he opened up about his personal relations with his parents, he never talked about his marital life. Recently a friend of the singer disclosed that Diljit is married to a woman of Indian-American origin and she lives in the USA with their son.
Diljit had not reacted to this revelation till now but recently he made his first social media post after his friend made the revelation. He shared a video with the caption, “Kahaniyan badlengi par Chamkile ke geet humesha amar rahenge”.
Recently, Diljit appeared in an interview in which he told how much this movie means to him, he said, “See, I had no expectations. This is a huge thing, high expectations… Working with Imtiaz Ali sir is a huge deal. I never dreamt of it. We all have a bucket list, right? Working with him wasn’t on my list because I never thought it could happen. So firstly, thanks to Chamkila. This is all thanks to him! We owe it all to him.”
Amar Singh Chamkila was a grassroot Punjabi singer who was shot dead at the age of 27 yrs as there were many who didn’t like his songs.
