Shah Rukh Khan’s debut show Fauji is set to return after 36 years with a sequel titled Fauji 2. The lead role will be played by Vicky Jain, Ankita Lokhande’s husband, who opened up about his debut in a recent interview. Vicky shared, “I’m fortunate enough to be acting. While I now have some experience in front of the camera, I’ve realized acting is serious business.”
Vicky Jain credited his wife Ankita Lokhande for being his constant support throughout his journey. “Ankita has been like my rock. She gives me confidence, reminding me, ‘Yes, you can do it, and I’m going to be there,’” Vicky said, emphasizing how her encouragement has been a key factor in his acting journey.
Vicky Jain expressed his excitement about working alongside Gauahar Khan, whom he admired during his college days. “Gauahar Khan has always been a big name. I used to buy passes just to watch her at fashion shows, and today, I get to work with her,” Vicky said, reflecting on how far he has come.Unlike modern shows that typically debut on OTT platforms, Fauji 2 will air on Doordarshan. Vicky highlighted the channel’s wide reach, especially in remote areas where cable or dish services are unavailable. He also mentioned Doordarshan’s plans to launch their own OTT platform in the near future.
