Mahavatar will be Vicky Kaushal’s debut in the mythological genre, a departure from his previous roles. With Amar Kaushik at the helm, known for his work in films like Stree and Bhediya, this collaboration with Maddock Films aims to bring a fresh perspective to Indian mythology.

In addition to Mahavatar, Vicky Kaushal will soon appear in Maddock’s historical film Chhaava, directed by Laxman Utekar. Set to release on December 6, 2024, Chhaava features Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the legendary Maratha emperor, alongside co-stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna.
