The beautiful actress Vidya Balan is known for her superb acting talent and she is one of the few actresses who have the capability to pull the audiences to the theatres and because of this, she has done many female centric movies in her career.

The senior actress is gearing up for the release of her next movie which is Do Aur Do Pyaar and it is slated to release on 19 April 2024. The film is a directorial debut of Shirsha Guha Thakurta and it also stars Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D’Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy in important roles.

Recently, Vidya Balan gave an interview in which she stated that male actors show reluctance when it comes to sharing screen with her, she said, “Back in the day? (rolls eyes) I don’t think they’d be okay even today to star in a Vidya Balan film or a female-led film for that matter. It’s their loss honestly because we are doing better films than they are. I genuinely believe that. They are doing more formulae-based films, women-led films are far more exciting. Of course, people have been appreciative, but male stars are uncomfortable with women taking centre stage. I don’t think they’d be okay with anyone stealing the thunder. But I never felt bad. I was like if they are threatened, what can I do? (laughs)”.

Why are male actors not happy sharing screen with Vidya Balan in your opinion?
