The actor also spoke warmly about his professional equation with Rashmika, expressing a desire to collaborate with her more often. “I haven’t done enough movies with Rashmika. I should do more. She is a great actress. She is a beautiful woman. So chemistry shouldn’t be a problem,” he said. His admiration didn’t stop there. Vijay went on to highlight Rashmika’s dedication and nature, saying, “She is crazy hardworking. She can beat anything with her will and determination. She is too kind and prioritises everyone’s comfort and happiness over hers.”
Their rumoured relationship reached new heights last year when reports of an engagement started circulating following their joint vacation to the Maldives. It was widely speculated that a formal announcement was on the horizon. But Vijay promptly put an end to the hearsay, telling Lifestyle Asia, “I’m not getting engaged or married in February. It feels like the press just wants to get me married every two years. I hear this rumour every year. They’re just walking around waiting to catch me and get me married.”
