The Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is just 13 runs away from hitting another century in a test match and his first overseas since 2018 as he was at the score of 87 runs not out at the end of Day 1. Batting first, India posted a total of 288/4 on the scoreboard at the end of Day 1 and during the second test match which is being played at Queen’s Oval Park, Port of Spain, Virat Kohli who is playing his 500th international match achieved one more milestone when he crossed the mark of 32 runs.
Virat Kohli has become the fifth highest run getter for India in test matches as he surpassed Virender Sehwag’s total of 8586 runs in the second test match.
Sachin Tendulkar tops the list with 15921 runs in 200 test matches, he is followed by Rahul Dravid who scored 13288 runs in 164 test matches and the third spot is secured by Sunil Gavaskar with 10122 runs in 125 test matches.
Sunil Gavaskar was the first batter to cross the 10000 runs mark in the international test cricket and the fourth name in this list is of VVS Laxman who has 8781 runs in 134 runs.
Virat Kohli is playing his 111th test match and currently he has scored 8642 runs, let’s see whether he will be able to score a century or not.
