The Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was in great form in the match between RCB and PBKS which was played yesterday at M. Chinnaswamy stadium, Bengaluru as he scored his 100th fifty plus score in T20 cricket.
Virat Kohli played a superb knock of 77 runs for which he played 49 deliveries; his innings included 11 boundaries and 2 sixes and he helped his team in chasing the target of 177 successfully.
With this innings, Virat Kohli has silenced his critics and during the presentation, he has also answered the rumours as per which he may not be a part of India’s T20 squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 which will be played in June in West Indies and USA.
Virat Kohli stated, “I know my name is now attached to just promoting the game in different parts of the world when it comes to T20 cricket. I’ve still got it I guess.”
Talking about the match, he admitted that he was not happy because he was not able to finish the match. He said, “I try to give the team a blazing start, but if wickets fall you have to assess. Wasn’t the usual flat pitch. Disappointed I couldn’t finish the game. Was in the slot but sliced it to deep point. They know I play the cover drive well, so they’re not going to allow me to hit gaps. You have to come up with a game plan here and there.”
Virat Kohli was at his best once again, what do you say?
