Virat Kohli Names The Stadium He’s Most Excited To Play In ODI WC2O23

The Indian cricketer Virat Kohli will have to play some superb cricket if India has to win the ODI World Cup 2023 and fans, former cricketers, etc/ are expecting a lot from him as currently he is in a great form after going through a bad phase for a long time.

In the last World Cup which was played in 2019, Virat Kohli was the skipper of the Indian cricket team and took his team into the semi-finals which they lost to New Zealand.

Virat Kohli was also a part of the Indian squad which won the 2011 World Cup and recently he revealed the name of the stadium which is very special for him and he is most excited to play over there in the upcoming 2023 World Cup.

During an interaction, Virat Kohli stated that Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, holds a special place in his heart as it is where the Indian team won the 2011 World Cup after defeating Sri Lanka in the finals of the tournament. He also expressed his desire to play in that environment once again as he stated “Personally, I’m looking forward to playing in Mumbai. It’d be great to experience that atmosphere again.”

Virat also talked about his contribution of 35 runs in that match and how important it is to play a World Cup at home. He said, “I was quite young then. I saw what it meant to the seniors. I can understand what they went through and how special it is to play a home world cup and how excited they are going to be.”
