Virat Kohli, the Indian cricketer is back in India as he isn’t a part of the Indian squad which will play the 5-match T20I series against West Indies. Virat Kohli played pretty well in the test series as he scored a century which was his first in overseas since 2018 but as far as the ODI series is concerned, in the first ODI, he didn’t get to bat and then he was dropped from both the remaining ODIs.
Virat Kohli is pretty active on social media and sometimes he also gets trolled when he tries to preach about Diwali and other Hindu festivals. Pollution is one of the biggest concerns of the present times and once, Virat urged everyone to take public transport at least once in a week as this small step can also bring a big change.
However, the Indian cricketer has attracted the wrath of online users as he returned to India through a chartered flight and he also made a post regarding it on his Instagram account.
He shared a photo with the caption, “Thank you @acs_aircharter and @capt.abupatel for arranging my flight and great service too”.
Soon online users started slamming him for the double standards as on one side, he talks about fighting pollution and on the other, he is travelling by a chartered flight which must have caused huge pollution. Here are some selected reactions:
