Vivek Agnihotri claims Samay Raina will now understand the pain of Kashmiri Pandits, leaving the internet questioning the connection

On his show India’s Got Latent, comedian Samay Raina has been involved in controversy due to comments made by Ranveer Allahbadia. Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has supported Samay Raina since he made a public apology. Vivek’s choice to link Samay’s situation to the Kashmiri Pandit problem, however, has left social media users confused.

After Samay publicly apologized for the ongoing problems, the director took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express support for him.

“Today, as a Kashmiri Pandit, @ReheSamay must have experienced how it feels when people who don’t agree with you come to lynch you. Welcome to the club,” he wrote in his post.

On Wednesday, Vivek Agnihotri responded to the post that Samay Raina had shared. Samay also spoke out about the row on Wednesday. He announced that he has erased every episode of the show and will completely cooperate with the police on Twitter (now X).

Vivek’s tweet sparked much interest on social media, leading to a barrage of replies from confused people. Numerous people asked Vivek to clarify the relationship between the two seemingly unconnected items in the comment section.
