Alongside the base and Pro models, Vivo is reportedly planning to launch the Vivo X200 FE in India — possibly in place of the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, which was previously announced in China in October 2024. In India, the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro models were launched back in December last year.

Earlier reports had suggested that both the Vivo X200 Pro Mini and the X200 Ultra would be released in India. However, a recent update now claims that the X200 Ultra may still arrive, but it could be joined by a new X200 FE variant, which might replace the Pro Mini model for the Indian market.

Launch Timeline and Features (Expected)

According to a report by Smartprix, the Vivo X200 FE is expected to launch in India by late June or early July. The phone will likely take the place of the previously expected X200 Pro Mini, launching alongside the X200 Ultra.

The X200 FE is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e SoC — a yet-to-be-announced processor that may be a binned version of the Dimensity 9400. For reference, the Dimensity 9400 SoC powers the Vivo X200 Pro Mini in China. That model, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, is priced at CNY 4,699 (around ₹56,000).

In terms of display, the Vivo X200 FE is expected to feature a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. For optics, it may sport a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls. While the battery capacity remains unknown, support for 90W fast charging is likely.

As per Gizmochina, the Vivo X200 FE may debut in China as the Vivo S30 Pro Mini, also expected to use the Dimensity 9400e chip. Although this chipset hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, it is also rumored to appear in upcoming phones like the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition and a new Realme smartphone.
