Rishabh Pant, the Indian cricketer has made a comeback on the cricket field after his horrible car crash but he hasn’t been able to make his team win their first match in the ongoing IPL 2024.
Rishabh Pant is the skipper of Delhi Capitals and yesterday DC lost their second match of the tournament which they played against Rajasthan Royals at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Rishabh Pant won the toss and asked RR to bat first, RR made a score of 185/5 in their stipulated 20 overs with the help of brilliant knock (84 runs) of Riyan Parag.
While chasing the target of 186, the DC batters failed in stitching big partnerships and they also failed in increasing the run rate when it was needed. DC could manage only 173/5 in their 20 overs and the skipper could score just 28 runs for which he played 26 deliveries and his innings included 2 fours and 1 six.
After Rishabh Pant got out after giving a catch to Sanju Samson on the bowling of Yuzvendra Chahal, he was seen lashing out at the curtains in anger while walking to the dressing room, here is the video clip:
