Watch: Cordial Banter Between Virat Kohli & West Indies Player Goes Viral

“Stealing doubles since 2012,” West Indies player admires Virat Kohli for his fitness

The Indian cricket team is once again performing well in West Indies as it has ended the day one of the second test match at the score of 288/4 with Virat Kohli (87*) and Ravindra Jadeja (36*) at the crease. The second test match is being played at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain and after winning the toss, the hosts decided to bowl first. India got off to a good start as the openers Rohit Sharma (skipper) and Yashasvi Jaiswal stitched a partnership of 139 runs for the first wicket. While Jaiswal played a brilliant knock of 57 runs, the skipper missed the chance of scoring another century by 20 runs.

Shubman Gill and Ajinkya Rahane once again failed in making an impact and got out early but Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja stabilized the innings and also kept scoring at a good rate.

Virat Kohli is undoubtedly one of the fittest sportspersons of the world and running quick has never been a problem for him in his career. On the last ball of the 72nd over, Virat Kohli pushed his partner Ravindra Jadeja to take a double for which King Kohli had to dive, in the start of the 73rd over, a voice was heard on the stump mic which said, “Stealing doubles since 2012”.

Virat Kohli was at the non-striker end at that time, Jomel Warrican was supposed to bowl and Ravindra Jadeja was taking the strike and what is confusing people is whose voice that was. While many feel that it was West Indies wicketkeeper-batter Joshua Da Silva who praised Virat Kohli a couple of times during the match, there are some who feel that it was Warrican.

Here is the video:

Well, whoever said it, he said the truth.
