According to a new report by the Special Competitive Studies Project (SCSP), the US military will have to soon develop a new military-technological competitive strategy. 

The US Department of Defense (DoD) must find any gaps in the capabilities necessary for its smooth operation. To bridge the gap, the US military will have to soon develop a new military-technological competitive strategy. 

The US established the First Offset Strategy which involved developing the equipment and training the troops needed to maintain bomber aircraft in the air at all times, giving subordinate officers the authority to man nuclear silos, and creating the capacity to keep watch on land, at sea, and underneath the earth’s surface. By the middle of the 1980s, the Soviet Union understood that The Third Offset, which was probably the Third Offset envisioned by former Deputy Defense Secretary Robert O., had left it without a realistic path to military success in Europe. The  the US Department of Defense (DoD) was being moved away from counterterrorism and toward a technology-focused strategy for great power competition and conflict. However, technology is developing at an unprecedented rate, due to which many old capacities are becoming obsolete.

The US Department of Defense (DoD) must find any gaps in the capabilities necessary for its smooth operation. To bridge the gap, the US  military will have to soon develop a new military-technological competitive strategy.  Adopting adaptive communication systems, like NASA’s cognitive communications, is one way to achieve this. These systems employ decision-making algorithms to figure out the best route for signals to travel in dynamic, diverse networks.

Using adaptive communications to protect C2 systems from PLA disruption would increase US power projection. To manage and adjust to longer-term difficulties that may arise in the changing security environment, the US Department of Defense (DoD) need a new force architecture that is technologically enabled. Equipment for the Future Joint Force must be modular, interoperable, software-defined, and, if possible, low-cost by design. The Department of Defense should create and field a low-cost, software-centric collaborative combat aircraft (CCA) to hasten the delivery of critical capability while continuously enhancing the efficiency of the platforms through software and other system updates. This will help the Joint Force move toward this characteristic. The ramifications might be severe if we don’t act soon to deploy next-generation capabilities and rebuild the combined Force. To face this generational challenge and be the driving force behind the adjustments required to protect the sort of world we currently live in, our political and defense leadership as well as the American public must once more rise to the occasion.

The increase in procedures is anticipated to reduce second quarter profitability for UnitedHealth. It is anticipated that its medical loss ratio, which measures the percentage of premiums spent on medical treatment, would be close to 83.1%, up from the previous quarter’s 82.2%. Noel noted that although management had stated on the call that these problems might only have an impact on profitability in the second quarter, they are “not assuming that those abate right away.”

UnitedHealth prospered during the epidemic, and since February 2020, its stock has increased by about 80%. The business generated about $92 billion in sales during the first quarter of 2023, a 15% rise from the prior year. The superstar Salman Khan will be making his digital debut today as he will be hosting the second season of Bigg Boss OTT on Jio Cinema from June 17 (today) and fans are pretty excited for the show. 

The Wanted actor has been hosting one of the most controversial reality shows for more than a decade now and recently in an interview, he revealed that he gets calls from many people for the purpose of recommending their names for the show but he doesn’t recommend as the producers don’t listen to him. 

Salman Khan stated, “Be it politicians, actors or from any other walk of life, I get calls from everyone saying that Bigg Boss is a great platform for their career and they would love to be a part of the show. But they don’t understand this decision is not in my hands but it is in Sheetal’s, Manisha’s and Endemol’s and COLORS’ hands.”

The Tiger of Bollywood says that many people get upset because he doesn’t recommend their names. He also revealed that once he recommended one person but the makers rejected his recommendation after which he stopped suggesting anybody’s name. 

He stated, “Salman Khan doesn’t interfere in this decision and the channel and the production house take care of everything. They have made this rule that they don’t take my recommendation. Once I had requested them to cast someone and they did not, so after that I stopped recommending. In fact, during one season I recommended someone and they themselves called that person and got him on board. One of the people who I knew but was not aware that he is going to be a part of the show was Nikitin. I met him on stage of Bigg Boss 6. Unka bus chalta toh woh aaj tak ghar mein reh rahe hote (if he had his way, he’d have stayed in the house till now).”

The Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) has opened 9,484 Jan Aushadhi Kendras in the country, offering 1,800 medications and 285 surgical tools at significantly reduced costs. Applications have been invited to set up more such centers across the country.

Around 10,000 Jan Aushadhi Kendras are anticipated to be operational by the end of 2023 throughout the country.

Applications have been invited to set up more such centers, said the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI) CEO, Ravi Dadhich.

Dadhich made the remarks while speaking at a press conference held at the central warehouse in Bilaspur, Gurugram.

He further stated that applications have been requested for the plans to open these centers.

There are 9,484 Jan Aushadhi Kendras operating in the nation as of May 31.

The Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) now operates four warehouses around the nation, with the central warehouse in Gurugram (Haryana), Chennai, Guwahati, and Surat being the largest.

According to Dadhich, the PMBJP is now offering 1,800 medications and 285 surgical tools at significantly reduced costs without sacrificing quality.

In order to ensure the highest quality, he stated, “Each batch of the pharmaceuticals is tested at laboratories recognized by ‘National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories’ (NABL) once it is received at the warehouses. In order to guarantee that medications are of excellent quality, PMBI gives the utmost priority to the quality characteristics and routinely conducts tests.

Since 2014, Jan Aushadhi Kendras have significantly increased in number under PMBJP.. While their numbers rose by 100 times, the sales have also grown over 170 times. On the whole, the scheme has enabled citizens to save nearly Rs 20,000 crore, since 2014.

The Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers launched Pradhan Mantri BhartiyaJanaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP). The goal was to make quality generic medicines available at affordable prices to everybody. Under this scheme, dedicated outlets known as Jan Aushadhi Kendras were opened to provide generic medicines. These products are sold by the retail shops at 50-90 per cent lower costs than branded medicines.

Nearly 10,000 Jan Aushadhi Kendras are expected to be operational in India by the end of 2023.

Stay Tuned for JEE Advanced Result 2023 Live – Know Where to Check

Tomorrow, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati will announce the JEE Advanced 2023 results. The results for students who took the exam can be found on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.

The test was given on June 4, and on June 11 the tentative answer key was made available. The deadline for applications was June 12. After the preliminary answer key, the final JEE Advanced 2023 answer key and results will be published online.

This time, IIT Guwahati reported a 95% attendance rate with 180,226 applicants showing up for both exams. Additionally, the test was given in 77 centers spread across 12 cities in the IIT Kanpur zone. A total of 22,955 pupils out of 23,677 registered candidates have applied.

Along with the results, the last answer key will also be made available. Starting on June 19, the JoSAA counselling procedure will be in full swing. For the most recent information on the results, direct links, winners, answer keys, and other facts, follow the blog.

Once announced, candidates who appeared in the Advanced examination will be able to check and download their result from the official website at jeeadv.ac.in.

As per the official schedule, the JEE Advanced Result and Final Answer Key will be declared on June 18, 2023. After that, the Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) 2023 process will begin on June 19, 2023, at 5:00 PM.

JEE Advanced 2023 was conducted on June 04 in two shifts – 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon (Paper 1)  2:30 PM to 5:30 PM (Paper 2). 

A total of 1.95 lakh students were registered for Advanced 2023, out of which 44,000 were girls.

Adipurush, a much-discussed mythological action movie, is predicted to bring in 90 crore rupees on Day 1 in India.

Adipurush, the eagerly awaited Hindi film based on the legendary conflict between Lord Rama and the demon king Ravana, has become an instant hit at the box office. Due to its captivating plot, superb cast, and state-of-the-art 3D production, the film has garnered a lot of attention and smashed records for Hindi movie ticket sales.

Advanced sales of tickets

The feedback has been very positive ever since tickets went on sale. More than 62,000 seats were sold in well-known movie theatre companies including PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis on just the first day. More than 1.12 lakh seats have already been reserved for the forthcoming weekend as the advance ticket sales have continued to surge. By Thursday night, according to projections, the movie should have sold almost 2.5 lakh tickets.

According to a statement from the film’s producers, Adipurush received approximately $16,000 in advance booking in the Australian and New Zealand markets roughly a week before the release.

Day 2 is predicted to be better

Adipurush was forecasted by industry insiders to debut with a box office take of 50 crores. 

Additionally, producer and industry insider Girish Johar estimated that Adipurush’s weekend revenue may reach Rs170 crores. If Adipurush is successful in winning over audiences outside as well, it might generate between 150 and 170 crores in total revenue during its launch weekend across all languages. It’s crucial to keep in mind, though, that the audience’s reaction and sense of connection with the movie play a significant role in the movie’s popularity and box office results. He continued, “If the movie is good, day two collections could reach 60 crore, and day three numbers could reach 70 crore.”

Adipurush is currently performing incredibly well and has outperformed original predictions, according to the box office judgment. with an outstanding opening day revenue of roughly 85 crores.

In total, fourteen people were detained on Thursday in Kailasahar, a town near the Indo-Bangla border in the Unakoti area of Tripura, comprising seven Bangladeshis, four Rohingya (including two infants), and three Indian touts.

Rahman Ali (30), Jannatara (19), Khaleda Begum (19), Majuma Begum (17), Karima Begum (28), Abbas Howlader (35), and Al-Hafiz (18) were all Bangladeshi nationals. According to the police, the four Rohingyas were Mohammad Alam Sa (20), Kumira Bibi (18), Farida Begum (18), and Shafela Begum (18).

Four members of the Rohingya minority from Myanmar and seven Bangladeshis are among the immigrants who have been detained, according to the police.

According to authorities, they were first detained on Thursday from three vehicles before being later taken into custody in accordance with the Foreigners Act.

According to police, they searched people at the Naka checking station near the Assam-Tripura border on the basis of specific information and detained them for not having legal identity.

According to investigations, the Bangladeshi nationals were from Barisal and Chittagong, while the Rohingyas had been living in a camp for refugees in Chittagong, Bangladesh, since 2017. They recently crossed into Sylhet, Bangladesh, before attempting to cross into India.

The people had crossed the Indo-Bangla border with the aid of Indian touts, according to preliminary police investigations, and had intended to travel to New Delhi via Assam. The police notified the Kadamtala police station in the North district after obtaining information, which resulted in the seizure of three vehicles at the interstate checkpoint between Tripura and Assam. All those detained lacked identification documents.

The sub divisional police officer (SDPO) for Dharmanagar, Debasish Saha, stated, “We discovered that the Bangladeshi and Rohingya people had crossed the Indo-Bangla border with the assistance of Indian touts. Later, they intended to go through three trucks to Karimganj in Assam. Along with the three Indian touts, we detained 11 foreign nationals. We are looking into the situation.

One of the ladies who was detained, Jannatara Begam, revealed, “My husband used to drive a car. Due to our precarious financial situation, my brother-in-law requested that we travel to Delhi, where he currently resides. While having a chat with another former CSK player Robin Uthappa, Suresh Raina stated that MS Dhoni took permission from him to include Robin Uthappa in the squad before the IPL 2021 final. 

Suresh Raina said, “When MS Dhoni and I talked, I suggested to him that ‘you should try Robin Uthappa’. He (Dhoni) took permission from me to play you and I said to him that ‘he is the guy to give you the final, trust me’. MS Dhoni said that ‘see we have played since 2008 but I want to win this season. Now, you tell me what to do’. I said ‘play Robin at number 3 and make sure he is in the playing XI till final. If you win, CSK will win. Whether I play or him, Robin and Raina are same’.”

Suresh Raina was a part of four IPL winning CSK squad but before the mega-auctions, the franchise released him and didn’t even bother to bid for him and he went unsold in the auctions. 

Robin Uthappa played a quick knock of 31 runs in 15 balls in the IPL final which was instrumental in CSK’s win.
