Tabu Dazzles in Gold Saree and Backless Beaded Blouse by Abhishek Sharma

Bollywood actress Tabu showed us yet again how grace never goes out of style. She was stunning in a gold digitized saree by Abhishek Sharma, radiating modern chic while exuding vintage elegance at the same time. Her most recent fashion choice has been a hot topic this week, and rightly so, as it blends minimalism and regality in a dramatic yet subdued manner.

The sheer saree, which muted gold in color, was embellished with painstakingly detailed starburst embroidery which lent a celestial beauty. While the overall design struck a balance between simplicity and high fashion, the pleated hemline gave refined movement and additional elegance.

A striking accent to the overall look was her heavily beaded gold backless blouse. The beaded details with structured shoulders and an open back gave a modern spin to the otherwise timeless piece adding to the grace of the ensemble. Tabu effortlessly carried off the outfit with her signature elegance, allowing the ensemble to speak for itself.

In keeping with the look, her makeup was soft and dewy featuring muted lips, defined brows, and glowing skin which, along with a neatly tied bun, gave a clean polished touch. With the focus on her outfit, the accessories were minimal, consisting of statement bangles and stud earrings.

Seeing Tabu styled for an event brings to life her sense of fashion once more. She combines tradition and modernity perfectly, as showcased by her effortless yet striking gold saree. Ethnic attire can indeed be made to look strong and do not require excessive effort to achieve elegance.

For cocktail parties, reception, or festive gatherings, Tabu’s gold saree look is the best modern saree styling inspiration you can get.

Shilpa Shirodkar Opens Up: “I’m 10th Fail, He’s a Double MBA—No Regrets Moved to New Zealand”

After making her film debut opposite Mithun Chakraborty in Ramesh Sippy’s Bhrashtachar, actor Shilpa Shirodkar went on to star in several successful movies, including Hum, Khuda Gawah, and Aankhen. Even though Shilpa was well-known in the Hindi film industry, she chose to live a quiet life overseas with her husband Aparesh Ranjit after marriage, shunning the spotlight at the height of her career. Shilpa recently talked candidly about her choice and said she had no regrets about it.

Speaking about leaving the movie business when she was at the height of her abilities, she said in an interview, “I don’t regret taking a break. I miss being busy, but I married such a sweet, nice and simple man, and that was important for me to start my life. Unfortunately, I left India, which is why it was difficult for me to continue working. If I had gotten married in India, I would have one hundred per cent continued working.”

After meeting her now-husband for the first time, Shilpa acknowledged that she had never wanted to feel at home in Mumbai, much less the entire country. She consented to accompany him abroad. Talking about the same, she said, “It was an easy decision. When it is your choice, things are straightforward. It was my choice. I never wanted to leave Mumbai, as I was very close to my parents. However, after meeting my husband, I said yes to him within one and a half days, knowing that he would be going abroad to study. So the bottom line was that I would also be leaving India. I just liked his honesty so much that I didn’t even think about what I was doing. Everything fell in place.”

Shilpa Shirodkar also discussed the disparity in their educational backgrounds — she is a Class 10 dropout and her husband holds a double MBA — but said she never felt tiny or inadequate in front of him. “I am a 10th fail. My husband is a banker. He holds a double MBA and is well-read, as well as quite different. I can discuss everything with him and his colleagues, as well as the life I have experienced with him. I never felt small in front of him,” she said.

When asked if she received any proposals for movies after getting married, she responded, “At that time, it wasn’t the space when women would get rules after marriage, so I don’t think anybody reached out to me, and I wasn’t such a big star, either. I don’t think I was so popular that people wanted me to come back. People were also happy when they said, ‘Ki gayi toh gayi.’ There are many others.” Shilpa acknowledged that her personal development was influenced by her experience living overseas, adjusting to life without friends, and learning how to make ends meet.

Ajit Agarkar Faces Backlash After Anshul Kamboj Picked Over Border-Gavaskar Trophy Star

0

Aakash Chopra, former Indian batter, has openly questioned the team management’s decision to replace Harshit Rana with Anshul Kamboj in the Test squad. With Akash Deep’s fitness still in doubt for the fourth Test, Kamboj was called in as an injury cover, while left-armer Arshdeep Singh has already been ruled out for the Old Trafford match in Manchester with a hand injury. Chopra reminded fans that Harshit had been asked to stay in England after the unofficial Test series, only to be sent home later, and he now wants clarity from the selectors.

“Now that Harshit Rana is missing, the questions start stacking up. How does one figure out the keepers and the dropouts? If the yardstick is India A performance, Anshul did better, but the logic was to stick with Harshit for the sake of continuity,” Chopra explained in a recent YouTube video.

He believes the panel should have held on to Harshit for the sake of team stability, despite Kamboj also being a deserving candidate for the role.

“If that was the plan, then Harshit Rana should still be in the squad. He’s not; Anshul Kamboj is in. No one knows why. Maybe the higher-ups have a reason, but no one’s sharing it. I’m not shocked. Kamboj earned his spot, and now he’s here,” the insider said.

Rana was part of India A and played two Tests in Australia, but the numbers didn’t impress. In the unofficial Test against the England Lions at Canterbury, he bowled 27 overs and took just one wicket while leaking 99 runs.

At 23, he’s still regarded as Gautam Gambhir’s project. He’s the kind of bowler who hits the deck hard, and in Perth he drew attention with an off-cutter that sneaked past Travis Head’s guard. Yet it’s been obvious that he’s still a work-in-progress, not yet ready for red-ball cricket at the highest level.

Now the fourth Test at Old Trafford is set for Wednesday, July 23, and Kamboj is the one expected to take the new ball for the first time in his career

Who is Aneet Padda? From a Kajol Film to Lead Role in Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara

0

Saiyaara, produced by Yash Raj Films, is set to be released in theaters today. Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, two debutants, play the lead roles in the romantic drama, which is director Mohit Suri’s comeback to the genre. Although Ahaan, the cousin of Ananya Panday and the nephew of Chunky, has been extensively discussed and written about, Aneet is a name that is mainly unknown outside of the core Bollywood circles. She has since acted in a few films, but not as the main character.

Who is Aneet Padda?

Born in October 2002 to a middle-class working family in Amritsar, Aneet was raised far away from the world of Bollywood. She started modeling for ads as a teenager, which opened up more opportunities. While attending Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi, to earn a bachelor’s degree, she kept modeling.

Aneet made her debut as an extra in the 2022 film Salaam Venky, starring Kajol. However, she got her big break last year when she appeared on the Amazon Prime Video series Big Girls Don’t Cry alongside Zoya Hussain, Raima Sen, and Pooja Bhatt. ‘Bombay parents’ is what Aneet refers to as the show’s directors, Karan Kapadia and Nitya Mehra. Aneet, who is also a passionate singer, recorded her debut single, Masoom, in 2024. In the same year, she played Aneet Kaur in a supporting role on the television series Yuva Sapno Ka Safar.

Aneet Padda’s Breakthrough with Saiyaara

Director Mohit Suri chose Aneet to star opposite Ahaan Panday in his 2025 romantic drama of the same name. According to the director, he was seeking new actors for his movie. Aneet was reportedly one of the hundreds of females who tried out for Saiyaara. Still, her performance so pleased Mohit and the top YRF executives that she was given preference for the position.

About Saiyaara

Two teenage actors play the leading roles in the romance drama Saiyaara. Tanishk Bagchi’s music is featured. With an approximately ₹10 crore booking, the movie has created a lot of hype at the box office. Trade analysts predict that Saiyaara will open at ₹15–20 crore, which would be the fourth-highest opening for all Hindi films this year.

5 Powerful Brain Hacks to Beat Procrastination and Boost Productivity

0

We’ve all been there—putting off tasks, scrolling endlessly, and convincing ourselves we’ll “start tomorrow.” However, procrastination doesn’t just delay goals; it also depletes mental energy and exacerbates stress. The good news? You can rewire your brain to overcome procrastination and accomplish tasks more efficiently. Here are 5 powerful brain hacks to help you stay productive and focused.

1. Start with the 2-Minute Rule

This simple trick tells your brain: Just get started. If a task takes less than 2 minutes, do it immediately. For bigger tasks, commit to working on them for just 2 minutes. This reduces resistance and often leads to longer, more productive work sessions.

2. Use the Power of Dopamine Triggers

Your brain loves rewards. Achieve small wins by breaking tasks into manageable chunks and rewarding yourself after completing each one. Even something as simple as checking off a to-do list can release dopamine, boosting motivation and making work feel more satisfying.

3. Apply the Pomodoro Technique

Work for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break. Repeat this four times, and then take a more extended break. This technique trains your brain to focus in short, intense bursts, keeping procrastination at bay while maintaining high energy levels.

4. Visualize the Outcome, Not the Task

Instead of stressing over the work itself, visualize the benefits of completing it—a clean inbox, a finished project, or free time to relax. Positive visualization activates the brain’s reward system and helps reduce mental blocks.

5. Change Your Environment

Your surroundings have a greater impact on your brain than you realize. Declutter your workspace, eliminate distractions, and set up a dedicated zone for focused tasks. A clean, intentional environment signals your brain that it’s time to work.

Procrastination is a habit—but so is productivity. By training your brain with these simple yet powerful hacks, you can take control of your time and focus. Remember, progress doesn’t come from big leaps, but from consistent small wins.

Tara Sutaria Responds with ‘Mine’ to Veer Pahariya’s Flirty Comment—Are They Dating?

0

Is another Pahariya brother officially off the market? Even though Veer Pahariya’s Bollywood debut in Sky Force has garnered a lot of attention, his recent online teasing of actor Tara Sutaria has everyone wondering if they are more than just friends. One passionate Instagram discussion has further fueled the belief among netizens that a romantic relationship is on the horizon.

It all started when Tara Sutaria posted behind-the-scenes photographs from her new music video, “Thodi Si Daaru,” featuring AP Dhillon. Tara, dressed in a dazzling backless little dress with a thigh-high slit, looked every inch the glam muse alongside Dhillon, who wore a crisp white shirt and an undone bow tie. What’s her caption? As romantic as it gets: “Tu hi, ae chann.” Meri raat ae tu.

But what got fans talking was Veer’s comment on the post: “My 🌟❤️,” he wrote, adding a red heart and a star emoji. Tara’s response? Even more telling: “Mine🧿❤️,” with an evil eye and another red heart. Instant online anarchy follows.

Fans immediately jumped into the comments, screaming! “Is that true? 👀” asked one user. Another wrote, “What’s going on guys?????👀😮” One fan wrote “uhhhh you guys dating 😳😳😳

Tara Sutaria and Veer Pahariya have been associated with each other before. Following Tara’s separation from Aadar Jain, rumors surfaced about a potential romance. Since then, fans have been able to piece together her and Veer’s departure from a well-known Mumbai eatery on the same night, albeit independently. The two were rumored to have taken a holiday in Capri, Italy, after posting pictures of their yachts from what appeared to be the same trip. Earlier this month, they also walked the runway as showstoppers at a fashion event.

“One Bad Egg…” – Afridi Opens Up About Why India vs Pakistan Legends Match Was Cancelled

0

Shahid Afridi, the captain of the Pakistani cricket team, suggested that politics and sports should be kept apart after the World Championship of Legends match between India and Pakistan was canceled on Sunday. The India Champions team’s Shikhar Dhawan vehemently declined to play against Pakistan in the WCL match in Birmingham, England. Yuvraj Singh, the Pathan brothers, and several other Indian cricket players also refused to play. The game had to be canceled due to the circumstances.

Speaking to reporters after the match was canceled, Afridi bizarrely emphasized the importance of keeping cricket and politics separate, despite having previously made controversial political statements.

“We are here to play cricket, and I’ve always said that cricket should be kept away from politics – it should move forward. A player should be a good ambassador, not a source of embarrassment for their country,” Afridi told reporters.

If India didn’t want to play, they shouldn’t have come to the venue, according to the former captain of the Pakistani national team.

“We’ve come here to play cricket. If [India] didn’t want to play against Pakistan, they should’ve refused before coming here. But now you’ve arrived, even held practice sessions, and then suddenly changed everything in a single day,” he added.

It even appeared that Shahid Afridi referred to Dhawan as a “bad egg” because he was the first to voice his disapproval of the Indo-Pak match in the WCL, first doing so a few months ago and then again on Saturday.

“Sports bring people closer, but if politics gets involved in everything, how will we move forward? Until we sit together and discuss issues, nothing will improve – lack of communication only makes things worse,” he said. “We’ve come here to play cricket, to have one-on-one interactions and friendly conversations. But sometimes, there’s one rotten egg that spoils everything for everyone else.”

“If I had known the match was being stopped because of me, I wouldn’t have even gone to the ground. But cricket should go on. What is Shahid Afridi in front of cricket? Nothing,” he said.

“The game comes first. As a sport, cricket is the biggest thing. Bringing politics into it or an Indian cricketer saying he won’t play against Pakistan – then don’t play, sit out. But sports is bigger, cricket is bigger, and it’s bigger than Shahid Afridi too,” he concluded.

Aditya and Shraddha’s chemistry, the heartbreaking love tale, and the great soundtrack make this romance drama a cult favorite.

Moviegoers were enthralled with Mohit’s most recent film, Saiyaara, and converted movie theaters into concert venues as a result. The lead couple, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, received an overwhelming amount of affection from celebrities, fans, and reviewers.
