Ranveer Singh Delivers A Strong Tailored Look Before Dhurandhar Hits Theatres

0

Sometimes an artist captures attention even when the spotlight isn’t meant to be on them, and Ranveer Singh is no stranger to that kind of effortless impact. Known for transforming himself with every role and every appearance, he once again proves that style can be its own form of expression, independent of the characters he plays on screen.

As audiences look forward to his action thriller Dhurandhar, slated for release on 5 December 2025, Ranveer has already created a fresh buzz with a photoshoot that reveals a striking contrast to the rugged look he sports in the film. While the movie’s promotions highlight a long-haired, intense avatar, his latest monochrome portrait presents him in a completely different light—refined, sculpted and exuding a quiet confidence.

Ranveer’s reputation for bold fashion choices has always set him apart, and this new appearance reinforces that instinctive sense of style. Dressed in a sharply tailored pinstriped double-breasted suit, he blends timeless sophistication with a modern edge. The absence of a tie and the relaxed, open collar soften the strong structure of the suit, creating a look that is both commanding and easy. A chain necklace, a subtle diamond stud and oversized sunglasses add just enough glamour to elevate the outfit without distracting from its clean design.

The all-black palette gives the ensemble its elegance, allowing the details to shine through with clarity. The fine pinstripes introduce texture, the double-breasted cut adds definition, and the tailored lines emphasize the precision behind the look. What stands out most is the restraint—no loud colours, no dramatic accessories, just disciplined styling that lets craftsmanship take centre stage.

His grooming completes the transformation. The neatly shaped beard, styled hair and strong facial features amplify the polished mood of the shoot. With every element working seamlessly together, Ranveer Singh’s latest style moment becomes more than a fashion statement; it becomes a reflection of his evolving persona and his ability to surprise audiences both on and off screen.

Why Surgeons Prefer Green & Blue Mask & Dress: The Science Behind The Colours That Save Lives

0

When you step into an operation theatre, the space may feel intense, but there’s something quietly reassuring about the cool green or blue worn by surgeons. These colours are not a style choice—they’re the result of decades of science, experience and safety considerations that have shaped modern surgery.

Doctors spend long hours looking at blood, which means their eyes are constantly exposed to the colour red. After staring at this shade for too long, the retina becomes fatigued, and when surgeons shift their gaze to something pale or white, the brain automatically creates an opposite, greenish afterimage. This visual effect can be distracting, uncomfortable and even disorienting.

In the early days, surgeons operated in white coats, and operating rooms often had white walls. But after prolonged exposure to blood, these white surfaces would appear tinted with green, causing strain and dizziness. In the early 1900s, especially between 1914 and 1920 in the U.S. and Europe, several surgical mistakes were linked to this problem, prompting a shift from white to green attire.

There’s also a scientific advantage in the way colours interact. On the colour wheel, red stands out the most against green-blue shades. This contrast is crucial during surgery because it makes blood easier to see. On white or yellow backgrounds, red tends to blend in, making it harder to judge bleeding accurately. But against blue or green gowns, even slight bleeding becomes more noticeable, allowing surgeons to work with greater precision and safety.

Surgeries often stretch for many hours, and the calmness of green and blue plays another important role. These hues are known to reduce eye strain, soothe stress and help maintain concentration for long periods. NASA uses similar tones in control rooms for the same reason—they help the mind stay sharp.

Today, the use of colour in hospitals has expanded into a clear system of identification. General surgeons usually wear green, neurosurgeons often choose blue, and paediatric surgeons may use softer shades like pink or light blue. These choices support better visibility while also helping staff and patients recognise departments easily.

What began as a simple shift to avoid visual confusion has now become an essential part of surgical practice, proving that the right colours can truly make a life-saving difference.

Tara Sutaria’s Sparkling Birthday Night: A Glamorous Pearl Tribute To Old Hollywood

0

Tara Sutaria welcomed her 30th birthday in true star style, turning a regular night in Mumbai into a scene straight out of old Hollywood. Fresh from a short Maldives getaway, with a sun-kissed glow and relaxed energy, she stepped into her celebration looking every bit the classic diva the theme promised.

For the evening, Tara chose a stunning white midi dress from Yousef Aljasmi’s Haute Couture 2022–2023 collection. The outfit, rich in detail, was covered in beads, pearls and crystals that created a radiant, sculpted look. Strings of pearls traced across the bust and waist, giving the impression of delicate fringes, while sheer nude fabric underneath added a touch of subtle elegance. She completed the ensemble with long matching gloves, perfectly capturing the vintage glamour that shaped the night.

Styled by Tanya Ghavri, Tara enhanced the retro mood with a sleek bun, leaving a few soft curls wrapped around it for a refined touch. Her makeup added to the red-carpet feel—shimmery pink eyeshadow, sharp winged eyeliner and bold lashes lit up her eyes. A glossy nude lip paired with a brown liner gave her a nostalgic early-2000s finish.

Keeping her accessories understated, she chose delicate leaf-shaped earrings and slipped into silver strappy sandals by Rene Caovilla. A shimmering silver handbag completed her look without overshadowing the dress.

Surrounded by close friends and accompanied by actor Veer Pahariya, Tara’s milestone celebration blended sparkle, romance and old-world charm, making her birthday night as memorable as the style she’s known for.

“This season is about giving Karan a little pre-shaadi rehearsal!” says Tejasswi Prakash on COLORS’ ‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment S3’

0

COLORS serves another hot plate of dinnertainment as Season 3 of its smash hit franchise ‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment’ returns with a louder, wilder, and spicier kitchen. After two seasons that turned cooking chaos into a national weekend ritual, the show welcomes a sizzling new ingredient this year. Tejasswi Prakash, the glam queen who lit up both earlier seasons as a guest, storms back into the kitchen as a full-time celebrity contestant, teaming up with Karan Kundrra once again on this culinary battleground.

This season packs a powerhouse line-up in one fiery rasoi with Bharti Singh bringing her iconic wit, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi steering the madness, and a cast ready to spark mayhem including Debinna Bonnerjee, Gurmeet Choudhary, Eisha Singh, Vivian Dsena, Abhishek Kumar, Samarth Jurel, Elvish Yadav, Isha Malviya, Kashmera Shah, Krushna Abhishek, Aly Goni and Jannat Zubair. Tejasswi Prakash opened up about how exciting it is to return to the Laughter Chefs kitchen, this time not just as a guest but as a contestant.

1. What sets this season of ‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment’ apart from the previous one?
A. Honestly, everything feels bigger, louder, and crazier! We have two full-on teams with a mix of brand-new jodis bringing fresh energy, and old favourites keeping the kitchen vibes fun and familiar. The challenges are wilder, the kitchen is more chaotic, and every task somehow turns into a comedy scene. You’ll see lovebirds flirting while chopping, frenemies trying to one-up each other, and total rookies scrambling like their life depends on it. It’s pure dinnertainment gold. And the best part is that you can expect me to stir up extra mischief, teasing Karan, and maybe even creating a few epic dishes of my own. With Bharti’s madness keeping everyone on their toes and Harpal sir guiding us with his legendary expertise, it’s the perfect mix you won’t want to miss!

2. Tejasswi, viewers are buzzing about your return to COLORS’ Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment. You came as a guest in Season 1 and 2. This time you are a contestant with Karan. What changed?
A. It honestly feels amazing to be back, but this time, it’s a whole new thrill because I’m not just dropping into the kitchen; I’m officially part of the chaos. In the first two seasons, I’d come as a guest, have my fun, and slip out before things got too messy. But this time, there is no escape. I’m here to bring the glam, and being teamed up with Karan makes it even more special. I’ve watched every single episode of the show and would keep telling Karan, ‘I want to be there with you, making those crazy dishes on set.’ I think I manifested it a little too well, because now I’m right in the middle of all the fun and food. Cooking together has been such a new, unexpected, and hilariously chaotic experience for us and that’s exactly the magic of this show.

3. You keep saying you are bringing glamour, not recipes. So how serious are you about cooking this season?
A. This season, I’m bringing a full dose of Maharashtrian mirchi to the kitchen! Being a true Mumbai girl, I like my food and my fun with that extra tadka of spice and drama. Even though Karan won last season, I keep telling him his training is still incomplete. This show is his real test. I’m the toughest instructor Karan’s ever had! Cooking together has been hilarious because he’s so calm and methodical, and I’m all instinct and chaos. And who knows, maybe all this kitchen practice will help him in the future too. Let’s just say this season is about giving Karan a little pre-shaadi rehearsal!

4. You were a guest earlier. Now you are in the firing line of Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. Nervous?
A. Chef Harpal welcomes you with warmth, but the moment he tastes your food, he switches into strict mode, and you feel it. As a guest, I could enjoy the fun and step out before things got intense. Now I am right in the middle of his kitchen, knowing that he can grill me for my slip-ups, creates a little healthy pressure. And honestly, I respect it. His discipline brings focus. He pushes you to take the craft seriously even when the room is full of laughter and noise.

5. How competitive do you think you and Karan will be compared to other jodis?
A. The minute I signed up for this season, everyone started reminding me that Karan had already won Laughter Chefs with Elvish and like that’s the standard I must live up to! But honestly, that only fired me up more. Karan and I are super serious about winning the show. I keep telling him, ‘You’ve already got one trophy, now it’s time to win one with me!’ I bring all the energy and chaos, and Karan pretends to be calm until the challenge begins, then suddenly he’s in full competition mode. If we can survive Bharti’s teasing, burnt pans, and our own kitchen quirks, I think the other jodis should watch out. We’re here to laugh, but we’re playing to win.

6. What was your most unexpected bonding moment with the other celebrity contestants?
A. The biggest bonding moments come from how one deals with failure. The moment Bharti and Chef Harpal announce a task, your brain just freezes. It feels like someone has tossed a thousand pieces of a puzzle into the air and we are all trying to catch our tiny piece, while pretending to think hard when actually we have no clue what is happening. Someone grabs ingredients they do not need; someone forgets what dish we are supposed to make, and someone is shouting for help. It feels like one big school project against time. And in that mess, you realize everyone is in the same boat. Every person holds a different piece of chaos and somehow, we fit it together as a team. We fail together, we fix it together, and we laugh at it later. That shared panic and eventual recovery has been the most unexpected and sweetest bonding moment for all of us.

Watch ‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment Season 3’ premiering on 22nd November and thereafter airing every Saturday-Sunday at 9:00 PM only on COLORS.

Smog & Cold Waves: Why This Season Is Hitting Delhi–NCR’s Arthritis Patients Hard

0

Every year, as Delhi moves into its coldest and most polluted months, life seems to slow down a little. The mornings are foggy, the air feels heavier, and stepping outside often comes with a sting in the throat. But for many people—especially those already living with joint problems—this season brings something far more uncomfortable: a sharp rise in joint pain that makes daily routines harder.

Doctors across the city have begun noticing a familiar pattern. People with conditions like osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis are arriving with complaints of increased stiffness, swelling, and discomfort. Although comprehensive data is still limited, the trend is clear enough that specialists no longer see it as coincidence. A recent study published in 2025 even found that long-term exposure to polluted air significantly raises the risk of developing arthritis. What once seemed like a background environmental issue has now become a major contributor to joint health.

Cold weather alone can make joints feel tight and uncooperative. Muscles tense up in low temperatures, blood circulation slows, and surrounding tissues become less flexible. These changes make movement feel heavier and more painful. But when thick winter smog is added to the mix, the problem grows. Tiny particles in polluted air can enter the body, spark inflammation, and accelerate the wear and tear of cartilage. Together, cold and pollution also keep people indoors and less active, which further stiffens their joints.

Orthopaedic specialists say this combination is becoming increasingly obvious in their clinics. One senior expert explains that the past several weeks have brought a surge of patients, particularly older adults and those already struggling with arthritis. He notes that the cold restricts blood flow around the joints while polluted air fuels inflammation—an unfortunate pairing that intensifies pain and swelling. For people who already live with chronic conditions, it’s almost like their joints are being pushed to their limits.

Surgeons treating complex joint issues are seeing the effects too. They point out that pollution doesn’t just make arthritis worse—it also slows healing after joint surgeries. The same tiny particles that harm the lungs can travel through the bloodstream, stirring up inflammation throughout the body. As a result, recovery becomes slower, and recurring pain more common. Managing arthritis in northern India is no longer just about treating the condition—it now requires confronting the environmental triggers that contribute to it.

Doctors emphasize that early care, staying warm, and gentle indoor activity can make a significant difference. But the larger message is becoming hard to ignore: the environment we live in is shaping our joint health more than ever, and winter in a polluted city demands extra attention to keep pain from taking over.

A Cough That Won’t Go Away After 8 Weeks? Experts Say It Might Not Be Allergy But….

0

A cough can start as something small—maybe a tickle in the throat or irritation after a cold—but for many people, it becomes a stubborn companion that refuses to go away. While coughs are common and often temporary, lasting anywhere from a few days to several weeks, some linger far longer and may signal something deeper happening inside the lungs.

Most long-lasting coughs come from familiar issues like postnasal drip, asthma, or acid reflux. However, a persistent cough can also point toward lung infections or chronic conditions such as COPD. This is where confusion often arises. Many people assume their cough is caused by an allergy, but in some cases, it may actually be an early sign of COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) — especially when it reflects long-term irritation from smoking or pollution. What looks like a harmless allergy cough could be the first hint of damage that has been building silently over time.

Doctors explain that COPD often brings more than just coughing. People may notice persistent mucus that they struggle to clear, along with irritation in the throat or moments where they feel as if something is stuck. These symptoms appear because the lungs gradually lose their ability to move mucus out efficiently. Smoking is a well-known trigger, but it’s no longer the only one. More non-smokers are now being diagnosed with COPD, particularly those living in cities with heavy pollution or rural areas where smoke from traditional stoves fills the air daily.

A cough that refuses to go away can be one of the earliest signs of COPD, even before breathlessness becomes obvious. Thick sputum, repeated throat irritation, and exposure to irritants like cigarette smoke or polluted air are important clues that shouldn’t be ignored. When the lungs are repeatedly exposed to harmful substances, they become inflamed and less effective at clearing out mucus, causing the cough to become more frequent and more frustrating.

If a cough lasts longer than eight weeks, it’s important to take it seriously. Early diagnosis can make a significant difference by slowing down the progression of COPD and improving long-term lung health. Seeking medical help sooner rather than later gives people the best chance to manage their symptoms, prevent future complications, and breathe easier again.

Priyanka Chopra Nails Contemporary Monochrome With Her Immaculate All-Black Look

0

Sometimes a celebrity steps out in an outfit that isn’t loud or flashy but still makes a lasting impression. Priyanka Chopra’s recent appearance is one of those rare moments. Instead of relying on bright colours or dramatic cuts, she chose a look that spoke through its subtlety, clean lines and thoughtful details—showing once again how effortlessly she understands the language of fashion.

The centre of her outfit was a black sheer blouse that managed to feel both romantic and commanding at the same time. The fabric had a soft, almost airy quality, brushing lightly against the skin without coming across as revealing. What made the blouse stand out were the carefully designed pleated panels that created a structured, almost architectural feel. Between these panels, delicate lace accents added a gentle contrast, keeping the look elegant and warm rather than severe. The classic button-down shape gave it a crisp finish, but it was the gold collar pin that changed everything, instantly elevating the neckline and giving the outfit a modern, editorial edge.

Paired with this was a high-waist black skirt that added richness and depth to the monochrome look. The embroidery on the skirt felt like textured artwork—detailed without overpowering the simplicity of the outfit. Every element seemed purposefully crafted, bringing a sense of couture precision while still remaining wearable and grounded. The shape of the skirt balanced perfectly with the lightness of the blouse, giving the outfit structure, movement and a quiet sense of confidence. Its length struck the right note too—elegant yet contemporary.

Together, the two pieces created a seamless harmony of softness and strength. Priyanka Chopra didn’t need anything bold to stand out. Her look was a reminder that sometimes, the most powerful fashion moments are the ones that whisper rather than shout.

Should You Wear A Sweater & Socks While Sleeping? Here’s What Experts Suggest

0

As temperatures drop, many people wonder whether slipping into bed with a sweater and socks is a good idea. The answer largely depends on personal comfort and room conditions, but research around sleep and body temperature offers some helpful guidance.

Our body naturally cools down at night to signal that it’s time to sleep. When the environment is too cold, this cooling process becomes harder, and the body must work extra to stay warm. This can lead to restless sleep, waking up frequently, or difficulty falling asleep in the first place. In such cases, wearing a light sweater and socks can actually support better, deeper sleep by keeping your body comfortably warm.

Socks, especially, have been found to improve sleep quality. Warm feet help blood vessels dilate, which allows your body to release heat more efficiently. This process stabilizes your internal temperature, making it easier to fall asleep faster. However, the type of socks matters. Breathable, soft materials such as cotton, bamboo, or lightweight wool are ideal. They keep your feet warm without trapping too much moisture. It’s best to avoid tight or synthetic socks, as they can restrict circulation or cause sweating.

Similarly, sleeping in a sweater can be beneficial if your room gets chilly at night. But again, the fabric and fit play an important role. Choose a sweater made from light, breathable fibers—cotton, cashmere blends, or thin merino wool. These materials provide warmth without becoming heavy or itchy. A loose or relaxed fit is also better since tight clothing can feel uncomfortable and limit movement during sleep. Thick or bulky sweaters may cause overheating, so layering a light sweater instead of a heavy one is a smarter option.

Wearing a sweater and socks to bed is not a must for everyone, but for those who sleep cold or live in lower temperatures, the right clothing can make a noticeable difference. With breathable fabrics and gentle warmth, you can create a cozy sleep environment that helps you rest peacefully through the night.
