‘No Laws have been Broken’: Vaani Kapoor Defends Diljit Dosanjh Over Sardaar Ji 3 Release

0

Following the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, 2025, Bollywood actor Vaani Kapoor’s romance play Abir Gulaal, starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, was put on hold. But instead of releasing Sardaar Ji 3 in India, Diljit Dosanjh chose to release it abroad, starring Hania Aamir. Vaani has now responded to Diljit’s choice to distribute the movie abroad despite requests for a ban in an interview with NDTV.

Vaani Kapoor in Diljit Dosanjh’s Sardaar Ji 3

Vaani spoke about how the situation was different when Diljit’s film was shot. She said, “I am assuming his film was shot before the atrocious attack, and I am assuming, as a producer, his money must have been stuck. I guess around 100 technicians were involved in making the film. The situation was different when the film was shot.”

She further defended Diljit’s decision and said, “I don’t think he was meaning to disrespect the nation. He is a global star… He is looked up to globally. He has taken measures as he thought was suitable. But I don’t think any laws have been broken, right?”

Regarding the Sardaar Ji 3

Pakistani artists were prohibited from performing in India due to the tense tensions between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam incident on April 22, 2025, and Operation Sindoor. But in the midst of all, Diljit unveiled the teaser for Sardaar Ji 3, his eagerly anticipated movie in which Pakistani star Hania Aamir had a significant part. As a result, the producers chose not to distribute the film in India and instead to release it only abroad.

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees responded to Diljit’s decision by calling for a ban on his upcoming ventures in India. Several celebrities criticized Diljit for collaborating with a Pakistani actor, including Mika Singh and Abhijeet Bhattacharya.

The film was filmed long before the two nations’ ties soured, the producers and Diljit explained, and the international release was scheduled for June 27. Despite not having been released in India, the movie became the highest-grossing Punjabi film of the year and made nearly ₹50 crore abroad.

Vaani Kapoor’s next film

Vaani’s most recent appearance was in the television series Mandala Murders, which also starred Surveen Chawla and Shriya Pilgaonkar in significant roles. Aparshakti Khurana, Paresh Rawal, Sheeba Chaddha, Richard Bhakti Klein, and Monica Chaudhary all have essential roles in Navjot Gulati’s comic drama Badtameez Gill, in which she will next be featured. The movie’s release date has not yet been set.

No Sari, No Problem: Shilpa Shetty Stuns in Embroidered Kedia Jacket

0

Shilpa Shetty is typically all about the sari, which is always precisely pleated, frequently belted, and generally made of georgette. She’s gone for something unexpected this time, though.

Payal Pratap’s cowl pants and white jacket, both made of malkha cotton, complete the ensemble. Echoing traditional kedia work, the jacket features a band collar and is hand-embroidered with sequins and multicolored flower patchworks. The peplum hem of the coat adds complexity to the silhouette and creates movement with its slightly flared pleated side panels that drop further on each side. The pants have tapered ankles, wide, rounded legs, and simple pleats, making them airy and dhoti-like. Her vintage, striped Carrano pumps, which are just sharp enough to keep everything grounded, complete the look.

This is a persistent pattern. Recently, embroidered jackets have appeared in many collections: Falguni Shane Peacock stitched them at FDCI; Shantnu & Nikhil’s androgynous, almost military style; and Anamika Khanna’s juxtaposition of breezy saris with boxy blazers creates sculptures. It makes sense because they can carry a look on their own, work at many events, and don’t need bulky jewelry or dupattas.

Her oxidized multi-stoned jhumka with its attached ear cuff was displayed by her sleek side-parted hairstyle. Her left hand’s big diamond-studded ring gave an unsubtle brilliance. Her makeup was straightforward: accentuated cheekbones, a nude lip, bronzed eyes, and a crisp liner flick.

“IT Graduates Are Being Misguided on Social Media  It’s Time for a Reality Check,” says Sumit Mahakalkar, Founder of Cloud Intellect

0

Nagpur, India – A wake-up call is ringing loudly in the Indian IT industry, and it’s from an industry expert who says it’s time for degree holders to be given a reality check. Sumit Mahakalkar, the visionary founder of Cloud Intellect, has made an impassioned call, asking the future generation of tech professionals to give up on traditional career options and opt for the future of cloud computing.

During a recent interview, Sumit Mahakalkar was blunt, pointing out the major mismatch between the technologies that many new graduates are seeking out and the true needs of the job market in 2025. “Even today, we have a huge number of students still concentrating on oversaturated technologies like Java, MEAN, MERN stacks And data science” he said. “The fact is, these fields are now saturated, and the market for entry-level positions is growing rapidly. The jobs just aren’t there to take in this amount of talent.”

Sumit Mahakalkar asserted that the true opportunities and the most well-paying careers are now squarely based in the cloud ecosystem. He cited companies such as Salesforce and ServiceNow as the new leaders, where the demand is great and talented experts are the hot ticket.

“The sector has shifted, and students must shift along with it,” Sumit Mahakalkar declared. “It’s a matter of transitioning from old, on-premise skill sets to new, high-growth cloud platforms that are the underpinning of business today. It’s not a recommendation; it’s an imperative for a productive career.”

This is no theory to Sumit Mahakalkar, however. As CEO, Cloud Intellect has an exemplary record of success, having trained and placed hundreds of students in the highly competitive Salesforce space. The company’s mission, he explains, is a holistic one: “Our goal is not merely to train, but to transform. We prepare students with the sought-after cloud skills that directly translate to real-world positions addressing immediate industry needs.”

Sumit Mahakalkar’s message is not just a career suggestion; it’s an appeal for more accountability in the field of online education. He calls on the students to become prudent consumers of content and to critically analyze the advice they derive from social media personalities. “Not everything that’s good for advice is good advice. We urge students to do your own work, talk to professionals who are in the field right now, and make your career path based on what’s actually happening in technology, not what’s popular on their feed.”

With the IT industry accelerating toward automation, AI adoption, and platform-based engineering, Cloud Intellect is always at the cutting-edge, equipping the next generation of IT professionals with a future-oriented attitude.

Shubman Gill Opens Up on 2-2 Series Draw: ‘Captaincy Seems Easy with Bowlers Like Siraj’

0

Shubman Gill was ecstatic after leading his team to a 2-2 draw in a five-match series for the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy and being named India’s player of the series by England coach Brendon McCullum.

The young Indian captain claimed that every match went to the final day, demonstrating that both teams gave it their all. He also noted that having bowlers like Siraj and Prasidh in the squad made captaincy simpler.

“Both teams played brilliantly throughout the series. Both teams came up with their A game, happy to get on the right side today. When you have bowlers like Siraj and Prasidh, captaincy seems easy. They were making the ball talk,” he said.

Gill claimed that despite being under strain, India remained confident even on Day 4, stating that they understood England was in trouble after a few wickets had fallen.

“Yes, there was a bit of pressure on us, but they were bowling well. We were confident. We wanted them to feel the pressure throughout the 37 runs they scored. When asked about having Siraj, who was adjudged the player of the match for his 5-wicket haul, in his team, he said: “He is a captain’s dream, every ball, every spell he bowled, he came all out and gave it everything for the team.”

On being asked whether a 2-2 scoreline was fair at the end of the five-match series, he said: “Both teams coming into Day 5 not knowing who would win shows how passionate both teams were and how hard everyone has played. Feels very rewarding, there were certain things I wanted to work on as a batter, and it was a goal to end as the best batter of this series, glad to get that goal.”

“It is always a combination of technique and mentality. When you are feeling good mentally, then the technique naturally flows,” he added.
As for what he learnt from the series, Gill’s sharp reply was: “That we never give up.”

What Happened in the India vs England Series?

In the exciting fifth and final Test match on Monday, India defeated England by a commanding six runs, capping an outstanding game between the two cricketing titans.

With an outstanding bowling performance, Mohammed Siraj (5/104) was India’s star player. He finished the series with 23 wickets, the most of any player on either team.

When terrible light and rain forced an early conclusion on the fourth evening, England was at 339 for six, chasing a record target of 374.

India finished England’s second innings at 367 in 85.1 overs after quickly taking the final four wickets.

War 2: Hrithik Roshan Hints at Dance Showdown With Jr NTR, Says ‘Kabir Has Been Through Hell’

0

In addition to the highly anticipated Bollywood debut of Jr. NTR and a brand-new Kiara Advani avatar, the sixth installment of the YRF Spy Universe promises the emotional and dramatic return of Hrithik Roshan’s Agent Kabir.

Hrithik shared a glimpse of Kabir’s emotional journey while speaking at a recent fan gathering in Sri Lanka. “Yeah, of course, it’s War. But I feel… Kabir has been through hell, and it’s changed him. I almost feel awful for him, you know? I hope he returns somehow to the normalcy, love, and joy, but I doubt it because, yeah, he’s been through some tough times.”

In contrast to the 2019 blockbuster, his writings depict a more nuanced and gritty Kabir. A face-off between Hrithik and Jr. NTR is already sending fans into a frenzy, so while the emotional stakes are higher, so is the adrenaline. In their forthcoming dance face-off, the two megastars have been joking on social media about whose name should go first. With both performers fighting for billing supremacy in what is expected to be one of the largest song sequences in Bollywood history, the friendly competition spilled over onto X (previously Twitter).

Hrithik has only had kind things to say about his co-star, even with the lighthearted bickering. “My favorite co-star is him.” The Fighter actor said, “Amazing and brilliant,” indicating a profound regard and chemistry that will undoubtedly light up the screen.

Production began in October 2023 and has since taken place in Salamanca, Abu Dhabi, Mumbai, and Italy. War 2 is a worldwide cinematic event, based on leaked on-site photos and growing conjecture about its intense action set pieces. Additionally, it will be related to the upcoming spy movie Alpha, which stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. However, since its initial announcement in Christmas 2025, no official release date has been established.

War 2 reservations are currently being accepted in North America, and preliminary results point to a fantastic start. And the excitement will only intensify with the impending release of the highly anticipated dance duel between Hrithik and Jr. NTR.

Mohammed Siraj Leads India to 6-Run Victory in Oval Test; IND-ENG Series Drawn 2-2

0

In the final Test at The Oval, India defeated England by an incredible 6-run margin, completing the series in a way that will never be forgotten. After England took the lead on Day 4 via centuries from Joe Root and Harry Brook, the game shifted in favor of India on a nerve-racking, tense morning that saw some outstanding fast bowling.

England needed just 35 runs to start the day, and two boundaries were hit off Prasidh Krishna’s opening two deliveries. Mohammed Siraj, however, changed the course. Initially, he had Jamie Smith behind Dhruv Jurel with a late-moving beauty. Gus Atkinson narrowly missed KL Rahul a ball later. Siraj was not finished. With a delivery that only clipped the leg stump in his subsequent over, he trapped Jamie Overton LBW, which was upheld by the umpire.

Josh Tongue was nearly LBW when Prasidh returned, but the review spared him. But when he dismissed Tongue with a ripper a couple of overs later, there was no doubting him. England needed 11 and was down to their final wicket.

After hurting his right shoulder diving on Day 1, Chris Woakes entered and shocked everyone by hitting left-handed and using just one hand. Atkinson gave Siraj a six in an attempt to shield Woakes, but he was unable to hold out for long. There were tremendous cheers after Siraj bowled him through the fence.

Siraj finished with five wickets, three of which came on the last morning. He remarked, “We just kept believing, ‘This team never backs down.”

India has again shown the heart of a champion.

5 Powerful Boundaries That Help Mentally Strong People Succeed Professionally

0

Success at work isn’t just about skills, qualifications, or long hours—it’s also about protecting your mental well-being. Mentally strong people know this secret: setting the proper boundaries at work is essential to thrive. Here are five powerful boundaries mentally strong professionals swear by—and you should too.

1. They Protect Their Time

Mentally strong people don’t allow work to bleed into their personal lives. They log off on time, avoid checking emails after hours, and prioritize rest. This boundary keeps burnout at bay and restores their energy for the next day.

2. They Say “No” Without Guilt

Saying yes to every request only leads to overwhelm. Successful professionals know how to say “no” firmly but respectfully. They understand that setting limits doesn’t make them less cooperative—it makes them more productive in the long run.

3. They Avoid Toxic Conversations

Whether it’s gossip, drama, or negativity, mentally strong individuals know when to walk away from toxic workplace energy; they focus on solution-oriented thinking and protect their mindset from distractions and emotional clutter.

4. They Set Clear Communication Boundaries

Strong professionals are clear about when and how they can be contacted, especially in today’s remote and hybrid work environments. Setting boundaries around calls, emails, and meetings allows them to stay focused and avoid unnecessary stress.

5. They Don’t Tie Self-Worth to Job Titles

Mentally strong people value who they are more than what they do. They don’t let promotions, job descriptions, or external validation define their self-worth. This mindset gives them long-term resilience and a healthier work-life balance.

Establishing clear boundaries isn’t selfish—it’s strategic. These five habits help mentally strong people not only survive the workplace but truly thrive professionally. Start by setting one boundary today, and you’ll see a ripple effect on your productivity, peace of mind, and overall success.

Tamannaah Bhatia Finally Breaks Silence on Dating Rumours with Virat Kohli

In Bollywood, a single public appearance or social media exchange is sufficient to start romance rumors. Before Virushka gained popularity in the 2010s, Indian cricket player Virat Kohli was rumored to be seeing actress Tamannaah Bhatia. She has finally responded to the rumors after years of speculation.

Did Virat Kohli and Tamannaah Bhatia have a romantic relationship?

“I feel so bad because I met him for only one day. I have never met Virat after the shoot. Na maine unse baat ki na unse mili hun (I haven’t spoken to him, nor have I met him),” said Tamannaah during an interview with The Lallantop.

She also addressed the bizarre rumours about her secretly tying the knot with Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq. The duo sparked speculations after they were spotted at a jewellery store. “Mazaak Mazaak mein Abdul Razzaq! The Internet is a fun place. Yaa, According to the Internet, I was briefly married to Abdul Razzaq,” she joked.

Looking at the camera, she further went, “I’m sorry, sir, Aapke do-teen bachhe hain, I don’t know what your life is!”

Tamannaah Calls Dating Rumours Embarrassing

“It was so embarrassing (It’s very awkward when there’s no connection at all, and people still create one. But there’s nothing you can do. It takes time to accept that you can’t do anything about it. People will think whatever they want to think. You can’t sit and control everyone,” she added.

Tamannaah Bhatia, meanwhile, is not dating at the moment. Vijay Varma, an actor, was her previous partner. According to reports, the pair split up for unknown reasons, although they are still friendly.

Sparks ignited during the filming of Netflix’s Lust Stories 2, where their romance started. Around the time of the anthology’s publication in 2023, they officially announced their love after months of speculation.
