“There Is A Lot Of Pressure On Gambhir To Perform,” Ex-Ind Player Makes Startling Claims

0

Former India opener Aakash Chopra believes that head coach Gautam Gambhir faces significant pressure, with questions poised to intensify if the Indian team doesn’t perform adequately in the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. Chopra pointed out that Gambhir has been granted every request from the selectors, placing the onus squarely on him to deliver results.

While India did secure the 2025 Champions Trophy under Gambhir’s leadership, the team’s Test fortunes have taken a notable downturn since his tenure began last year. Out of 11 Tests, India has managed to win only three. This period has also seen a humiliating first-ever home whitewash and a 3-1 away series defeat to Australia. In the ongoing series against England, India started the first Test promisingly but ultimately lost by five wickets, revealing a lack of preparedness and conceding a 1-0 lead.

“There is a lot of pressure on Gautam Gambhir,” Chopra stated in a video posted on his YouTube channel. “The pressure is absolutely mounting. If you look at his performances in Test cricket and red-ball cricket, you will find that he has not won a lot of matches. He has won 2 matches against Bangladesh and one against Australia. However, we lost three against New Zealand, three against Australia and one against England. He has been losing and losing,” he added.

Chopra further elaborated on Gambhir’s mixed record, noting, “His performance in white-ball cricket has been good. The team has been playing well. But in Test cricket, I think the questions are going to be there. And I think there is a lot of pressure on this series. If this series doesn’t go well, God forbid, I hope it goes well. I really want Indian cricket to do well. But if the England series doesn’t go too well, then there will be a question mark — Where are they going and what are they doing?”

Aakash Chopra does make sense.

After Shefali Jariwala’s Death, Doctors Urge 6 Heart-Healthy Changes for Women

0

The sudden death of actress Shefali Jariwala at just 42 has left fans shocked and heartbroken. Known for her iconic role in the music video Kaanta Laga and her appearances on reality TV, Shefali reportedly passed away due to a cardiac arrest—a stark reminder that heart disease is not just a concern for men or the elderly.

Cardiologists have long warned that women’s heart attacks are more deadly because they frequently go undetected or are misdiagnosed. In contrast to men, women may exhibit symptoms such as back pain, nausea, exhaustion, or shortness of breath instead of the usual chest pain. Women’s heart health, particularly in their 30s and 40s, must become a primary concern due to increased stress levels and sedentary lifestyles.

Here are six heart-healthy lifestyle changes experts recommend every woman start today:

1. Prioritize Regular Exercise

Engage in at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity, such as walking, yoga, swimming, or cycling, five times a week. Exercise helps regulate blood pressure, manage weight, and strengthen the heart.

2. Eat a Heart-Smart Diet

Choose a balanced diet rich in whole grains, leafy greens, nuts, seeds, fruits, and lean protein. Limit trans fats, processed foods, excess sugar, and salt.

3. Manage Stress Proactively

Chronic stress can contribute to high blood pressure and heart problems—practice mindfulness, meditation, or hobbies that help you relax and disconnect.

4. Get Regular Health Checkups

Don’t skip your annual checkups. Monitor blood pressure, cholesterol levels, blood sugar, and BMI to catch any warning signs early.

5. Quit Smoking & Limit Alcohol

Smoking drastically increases the risk of heart disease. If you smoke, seek support to quit. Limit alcohol intake to moderate levels, as excess consumption can damage the heart.

6. Prioritize Quality Sleep

Aim for 7–9 hours of restful sleep. Poor sleep patterns are linked to obesity, high blood pressure, and heart conditions.

Shefali Jariwala’s untimely death is a painful reminder that heart health is vital—no matter your age. Making small, sustainable lifestyle changes today can lead to a stronger, healthier heart tomorrow.

Shefali Jariwala, the popular actress best known for her role in the smash hit music video “Kaanta Laga,” passed away at the age of 42 in Mumbai.

She died after a heart arrest, according to media sources, although Mumbai Police stated they are still investigating the details.

Shefali Jariwala Wanted To Adopt A Child

In addition to the glamour of her life in Bollywood, Shefali had always wished to adopt a child. Shefali had made it clear that she wanted to adopt a child.

“It’s a feeling that had been growing in me for years,” she shared in an interview, adding that she wanted her husband to feel the same way.

“For a decision this big, it was important that both of us were on the same page. Interestingly, my time in the Bigg Boss 13 house made him start thinking seriously about starting a family,” she added.

Shefali Jariwala on Why Child Adoption Takes Time

Shefali Jariwala’s desire to adopt a child began early when she was just 10 or 12 years old. Even at that young age, she felt a deep emotional connection to the idea of adopting a baby girl. She believed that daughters often share a uniquely close bond with their parents.

“I’ve carried that wish with me ever since,” Shefali once shared in an interview. Over the years, her dream of motherhood only grew stronger. But while her heart was ready, the journey toward adoption proved far more complex than she had imagined.

Shefali candidly spoke about the many challenges involved in the adoption process in India. “The road to adoption is not an easy one,” she admitted. Stringent laws, intense scrutiny, and endless formalities make the path emotionally and mentally taxing for prospective parents.

She explained that authorities examine every detail—from a couple’s marital stability to their mental and physical health. The process involves mountains of paperwork, multiple counselling sessions, and even peer discussions with families who have already adopted. “Many couples lose the courage to move forward after seeing the effort and uncertainty involved,” she revealed.

Despite these hurdles, Shefali remains an advocate for adoption. She hopes that sharing her experience will inspire reform and open more hearts to the idea of giving a child a loving home.

Gen Z Finds Love Through Playlists, Not Poems: Expert Explains Why

0

Gone are the days when love was expressed through handwritten letters and poetic verses. Today’s generation is swapping sonnets for Spotify. According to relationship experts, Gen Z is redefining romance through curated playlists — and it’s more meaningful than it may seem.

Playlists Are the New Love Language

For Gen Z, music isn’t just entertainment — it’s emotion, identity, and intimacy all rolled into one. Sharing a playlist is no longer a casual gesture; it’s a carefully crafted expression of feeling. When someone sends you a song, it’s not just about the lyrics — it’s about the shared mood, message, and memory behind it.

Music helps Gen Z communicate emotions that are often hard to verbalize,” says relationship psychologist Dr. Nisha Kapoor. “Playlists are becoming a subtle yet powerful way to show interest, deepen connection, and reveal compatibility.

What Makes It So Special?

Unlike a poem that expresses one-sided emotion, a playlist is interactive and personalized. It evolves, reflects changing feelings, and includes music that both partners connect with. It’s also a way to test emotional vibes early in a relationship.

Do you like lo-fi while they prefer indie pop? That could be your cue to learn more about each other’s inner worlds.

A Digital Twist on Romance

Platforms like Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music have made playlist-sharing easier than ever. Many Gen Z couples even create “relationship playlists” that document their journey — first dates, late-night calls, inside jokes, and breakups.

It’s private, creative, and emotionally rich — just like old-school mixtapes, but with a 2025 twist.

In a world where attention spans are short, and DMs are dry, playlists offer Gen Z a deeper, more authentic way to bond. So, if someone sends you a song, don’t underestimate it — it might just be their way of saying, “I like you”.

After all, in this generation, the heart beats to the rhythm of a curated playlist.
