WhatsApp is back after global outage that affected Indian users as well

76 percent of users reported issues with the website, 17 percent with the application, and 7 percent with message transmission, according to DownDetector, a service that tracks outages.

There was a recent global outage of WhatsApp that affected users in India as well. While some users had trouble sending and downloading media, others had trouble using WhatsApp on their mobile and desktop devices. Users reported the issue, and WABetaInfo, a website, validated it.

The diruption started on Monday and was eventually fixed. Many people expressed their annoyance and sought information on Twitter.

The question “Is WhatsApp down or is it just me?” was posed by one user. One more wrote, “#WhatsApp down? I’m on Twitter.

76 percent of users reported issues with the website, 17 percent with the application, and 7 percent with message transmission, according to DownDetector, a service that tracks outages.

As of right moment, WhatsApp hasn’t issued a formal announcement or given specifics on the causes of the outage. Users have been guessing about the source of the disturbance due to the absence of information.

The business will probably look into the problem and take action to avert future disruptions of this nature. As of right now, WhatsApp is operational again, enabling users to carry on with their typical messaging tasks.

The technical issues WhatsApp is now experiencing are not new. The platform encountered a server-side problem in January of this year that stopped users from worldwide altering their privacy settings for online exposure on iOS devices. In October of the previous year, a global outage impacted WhatsApp for more than two hours, affecting users in India and other countries.
