Farah Khan recently hosted Abhishek Bachchan and Remo D’Souza on the latest episode of her culinary vlog. While the trio whipped up a special dish, their conversation quickly turned to Abhishek and Remo’s latest film Be Happy. Amidst the chatter, Farah couldn’t help but reminisce about her experience working with Abhishek on Happy New Year and the countless times he tested her patience on set.

Curious to know if Abhishek was up to his old tricks, Farah asked Remo, “Abhishek ne apko van ke around kabhi bhagaya (Did Abhishek make you chase him around)?” Before Remo could answer, Abhishek jumped in with his characteristic wit, “Woh sirf aap ko bhagata hu! Bohut fit he ye (That I only do on your set to make you run. He is fit). You need exercise!”

Laughing, Farah recalled how on the sets of Happy New Year, Abhishek was the quintessential troublemaker. “When we shot Happy New Year, ek hota hain na woh shaitaan bachcha? Sab khare hain ek bachcha nahi aa raha hai (He was like that mischievous kid in class, everyone was there except him). I am trying to catch him and he is running around the van and doing hide and seek!”

While Remo admitted that Abhishek didn’t make him run around, he did acknowledge his playful antics. Directed by Farah Khan in 2014, Happy New Year featured an ensemble cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, and others.

Meanwhile, Be Happy, which hit theaters this weekend, is an emotional journey that explores the deep bond between a father and daughter. The film follows Shiv (Abhishek Bachchan), a devoted single father to the sharp-witted and determined Dhara (Inayat Verma). Dhara dreams of performing on the country’s biggest dance reality show, and Shiv, determined to fulfill her dream, embarks on a transformative journey that redefines happiness for him. The film also stars Nora Fatehi, Nassar, Johny Lever, and Harleen Sethi in pivotal roles. Produced by Remo D’Souza Entertainment Pvt Ltd and backed by Lizelle Remo D’Souza, Be Happy promises to be an inspiring and heartwarming tale for all audiences.
