Arbaaz Khan has often found himself in the spotlight not only for his work in the film industry but also for his personal life. After his much-publicized separation from Malaika Arora, the actor married Shura Khan in an intimate ceremony held on December 24, 2023. The wedding took place at the Mumbai home of his sister, Arpita Khan Sharma, marking a new chapter in Arbaaz’s life.

With a career spanning roles as an actor, director, and producer, Arbaaz has carved out a space for himself in the industry. Yet, despite his efforts and accomplishments, he has frequently been viewed through the lens of his relationships—whether as Salman Khan’s brother, Salim Khan’s son, or formerly, Malaika Arora’s husband. In an interview in 2022, Arbaaz admitted that this perception had once weighed heavily on him.

“There was a time when I was a little conscious and worried about that. Now that I look back, it came for no reason, and it didn’t make sense. And that used to bother me at times when I was called Salim Khan’s son, Salman Khan’s brother, or probably at one time, Malaika Arora’s husband, for that matter,” he revealed.

Acknowledging that certain things are beyond one’s control, Arbaaz shared how his outlook has evolved over time. “All you have to do is just restrain yourself. I’ve realised that I don’t have to prove anything to anybody. I mean, the exercise of proving things to people is such a futile exercise. It’s exhausting and taxing,” he said.

The actor went on to reflect more deeply on the concept of external validation. “How long will you do that? How much can you do that? And to what degree and extent will you do it? Will you ever be satisfied after that? What do you really want? Or do you want to please a million people? Between pleasing a million people and pleasing one person…whom would you choose? That one person has to be you.”

Arbaaz concluded with a message that resonated with authenticity and growth: the importance of seeking validation from within. He emphasized that genuine happiness stems from self-acceptance, and with that, one can truly begin to celebrate their own achievements.
