Only Karan Johar has the knack for making celebrities spill their secrets, and he did just that when he put Saif Ali Khan in a tricky spot. While promoting the film Phantom alongside Katrina Kaif on the sets of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa season 8, Saif found himself answering an unexpected question about his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and his co-star, Katrina Kaif.
With his signature wit, Karan, who was one of the judges on the show alongside actor Shahid Kapoor, asked Saif who he found hotter—his wife Kareena or his Phantom co-star Katrina. Saif’s response was certainly not what anyone expected. Without hesitation, he replied, “I am very professional. Katrina is hotter.”
Karan, never one to let such moments slip away, playfully teased Saif, repeatedly emphasizing his choice of Katrina over Kareena. The actor, realizing the potential trouble he might be in, quickly revised his answer, claiming that Kareena was undoubtedly the hottest. According to Saif’s ranking, Katrina came next, followed by Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Sonam Kapoor.
As the fun continued, Karan directed the same question to Shahid Kapoor. Proving his loyalty, Shahid chose his wife, Mira Kapoor, as his favorite, with Katrina Kaif taking the second spot. When it was Katrina’s turn, Karan asked her to name the sexiest actor among Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor. Without missing a beat, she declared, “Ranbir Kapoor”.
