The actor Imran Khan is thinking of making a comeback in acting after being out of the limelight for more than 10 years and many of his fans are expecting him to make a comeback with a romantic-comedy movie or a sequel of Jaane Tu … Ya Jaane Na.
Imran Khan made his debut with Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na and the female lead in the movie was played by Genelia D’ Souza. It was the story of Imran and Genelia’s friendship and how they realized that they are in love with each other. Directed by Abbas Tyrewala, Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na was a big hit at the box-office. Though Imran appeared in quite a few movies after that with some of the big heroines of Bollywood such as Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kangana Ranaut yet he was not able to achieve much success and then at one point of time, he chose to take a break.
When Imran was asked about the sequel of his debut movie, his answer was in negative as he said, “Jaane Tu was the story of so many people but for my part, it was the journey of Jai from boyhood to manhood. It is the story of two young people growing up, understanding what they seek in a partner and finding their way to love. It culminates so nicely that I don’t know what additional emotional growth you could have for these characters.”
