The biggest match of the IPL, the finals which was supposed to be played yesterday between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans got postponed for the reserve day as it rained heavily at Ahmedabad. Now the match will be played today at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, and everyone is keeping fingers crossed that today rain doesn’t spoil the game.
The Indian cricket team will be playing the finals of the World Test Championship against Australia at The Oval, London from 7th June 2023 and the Indian cricketers who are a part of the Indian squad will soon leave for England.
The Indian cricketers who will travel to England for the WTC final but currently playing for CSK and GT are Ajinkya Rahane, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami and Shubman Gill. Well, nothing of this sort will happen but a Twitter account left many in a shocked state when it tweeted, “There is a reserve day for #IPLFinals. But the players who will participate in the #WTC final will fly tomorrow morning for London. So Rahane, Ravindra jadeja, Shubhman gill, Mohammad shami won’t be available tomorrow for the IPL finals.”
