She became Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of state-owned Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited. Previously, she was Director (Personnel) of the hydroelectric power generation and transmission PSU.
Kapur became SJVN’s first full-time female director in 2018. The first female Personnel Officer of SJVN, she began in 1992. He’s 59 and from Shimla. Kapur graduated from Shimla’s Himachal Pradesh University Business School. Human resource management is her MBA. For over 31 years, Kapur has served SJVN. She has broad experience in HR, civil construction, and contracts.
Kapur has helped create policies, standard operating procedures, and wage settlements with unions given her human resources expertise, it claimed. She brought the organization to ‘Great Place To Work’ status in January 2024.
