2024’s World Heritage Day marks the 60th anniversary of the Venice Charter, an ethical code for the preservation and repair of historical sites. entitled “Disasters and Conflicts through the Lens of the Venice Charter.” For the benefit of future generations, we must preserve our cultural heritage during difficult times.
In 1982, World Heritage Day was established. It was created by the cultural heritage organization ICOMOS.
