Searching for Swift now displays “Error. Try reload.” The social networking platform called it a “temporary action” for safety. X previously stated that it has zero tolerance for such content.

“Our teams are actively removing all identified images and taking appropriate actions against the accounts responsible for posting them”, stated X.

After Swift’s bogus photographs went viral, the White House proposed legislation to protect individuals from AI-generated deepfakes last week.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre termed the incident “alarming” and said the Biden administration is prioritizing AI issues.

Satya Nadella called clear Swift AI fakes “alarming and terrible”. Swift reportedly considered suing the deepfake website.
