The actress Yami Gautam is quite happy with the response that her latest release “Article 370” is getting at the box-office. The movie is based on terrorism in the valley and abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu & Kashmir and it has earned more than Rs. 34 crores worldwide within three days of its release.
There were many who believed that “Article 370” will fail to impress the audiences as it was based on a complex and technical subject but the audiences have loved the movie and reports suggest that there are moments when audiences are even clapping while watching the flick.
Today, Yami Gautam took to X and slammed all those who were saying that “Article 370” will not work and she thanked her audiences for the support and love that they have showered. Yami wrote, “When we were making ‘Article 370’, so many people told us that this film won’t work with the audience, ‘it’s too technical, too many political jargons etc etc’. But we went ahead with our gut because we knew those naysayers were underestimating our audience. Thank you all for proving them absolutely wrong. Thank you so much for giving so much love to our small little film, with a big heart. We are humbled and will remain forever grateful to all of you. Dhanyawaad! Jai Hind!”
