Yashasvi Jaiswal Talks About The Coaching Style Of New Head Coach, Gautam Gambhir

Yashasvi Jaiswal is certainly one of the most promising youngsters to look for, the swashbuckling opener has earned recognition for his dynamic batting in T20 Internationals. He has represented India in 23 T20I matches, amassing 723 runs with a remarkable strike rate of 164.32. This aggressive playing style has impressed many, making him a standout player in the shortest format of the game

Although Yashasvi Jaiswal has not yet made his ODI debut, he remains a strong contender for selection in India’s squad for the Champions Trophy next year. His consistent performance in T20Is positions him as a promising candidate for future opportunities in the 50-over format.

The 22-year-old recently shared his experience of playing under India’s new head coach, Gautam Gambhir. He praised Gambhir for his unwavering support of the players, explaining that this backing allows them to play their natural game confidently, contributing to their overall success.

During an interview, he said, “Yes, I have spoken with him during the Sri Lanka series. He really backed us saying just go out and play freely and enjoy the game and we will be with you. It gives us a lot of confidence and helps us to play fearlessly.”

Yashasvi is currently playing in Duleep Trophy and if he performs well, it will increase his chances of playing in Champion Trophy.
