Your Stats Are Worse Than Me, You’re Fraud King: Ahmed Shehzad Hits Out At Babar Azam

Babar Azam, the Pakistani skipper is the target of many fans and former Pakistani cricketers as Pakistan’s T20 World Cup campaign started on a disastrous note and Babar Azam has performed poorly both as a batter and as a skipper.

Pakistan lost their first match to USA which was playing in the T20 World Cup for the first time and it was truly like an insult for the 2009 T20 World Cup winners. Then Pakistan lost their second match to India and that hurt fans a lot because Pakistan was in a strong position for the majority of the time in the match.

Though Pakistan won their third match which was against Canada, their entry in the Super Eight is still not certain and recently during a TV show, Pakistani cricketer Ahmed Shehzad slammed Babar Azam in a big manner and called him fake King.

While the broadcasters showed Ahmed Shehzad and Babar Azam’s stats on the screen, Ahmed Shehzad said “Your strike rate is 112 and average is 26. You haven’t hit a single six in 207 balls in the Powerplay. I admit I could’ve improved on my own performances 8 years ago, but your stats are even worse. You are worse than me, but you are king. You’re a fraud king.”

Ahmed Shehzad further leveled some allegations against Babar and asked him to apologise to the country. He said, “He (Babar) could not bring any trophy for Pakistan. After that you have ruined the entire domestic structure, you are such a captain, you cannot unconventionally run the domestic team to bring in your friends. If you cannot do anything then you can at least do this much that now you should raise your hands and say that I had all the support, PCB gave me everything, but I could not deliver, I got the players of my choice but I could not deliver for Pakistan, I am really really sorry, I am responsible.”

Ahmed Shehzad is really angry, what do you have to say in this regard?
