Zayed Khan has pointed to the distractions of Mumbai as a factor contributing to difficult marriages. In a recent interview, the actor was asked about his sister Sussanne Khan’s divorce from Hrithik Roshan. The couple, who were married for 14 years before parting ways in 2014, have remained friends since their separation. During the conversation, Zayed mentioned that the city of Mumbai, with its numerous distractions, poses challenges for many marriages.
In his chat on a YouTube channel, Zayed was asked whether the family was affected by the online trolling that followed Hrithik and Sussanne’s split. He responded, “You have to have a thick skin. The way your family comes together to provide emotional support is crucial. Our family is like a rock. If something happens to one of us, it affects all of us. These are things you need to approach with maturity. It could happen to anyone.”
Zayed also touched on the impact of living in Mumbai, saying, “Look at our city—there are so many distractions here. We don’t live in Dalhousie. It’s tough to survive in this city for many marriages, not just my own family. But regardless, we are an unmovable force.”
