Actress Zeenat Aman is a social media star who often posts glimpses of her everyday life on her Instagram account. Her most recent post is a lovely fusion of personal reflections, nostalgia, and an inside look at her daily activities.
The 73 actor posted several images that shed light on her connection with food. She disclosed her daily diet and made the surprising admission that, although she enjoys delicious food, she has never been a great cook.
Zeenat Aman describes her daily meal plan
Zeenat wrote about how her mother taught her to eat mindfully long before wellness and nutrition were trending on social media. She said, “Food is fuel, and before nutritionists, dietitians, and personal trainers became trendy, my mother taught me a simple rule: ‘Eat small, eat fresh’.” She continued by offering a sneak peek at her everyday meals, following the current trend of posting nutritional routines online.
Zeenat begins her days with a bowl of soaking, peeled almonds and a cup of black tea. She typically eats smashed avocado on sourdough toast with cheddar cheese in the morning, but she also occasionally treats herself to Desi favourites like poha or chilla. She called lunch her “heaviest meal of the day,” usually consisting of roti, sabzi, dal, and various side dishes. She had paneer tikka, homemade tomato chutney, matar aloo cooked in hara masala, and spicy khatti dal on her plate that day.
Every day, Zeenat’s faithful aide, Aijaz, prepares a bowl of freshly made, mildly flavoured roasted makhana for her evening snack. She said, “Crunchy, light… and nutritionist-approved!” she remarked. However, the real highlight of her day is satisfying her sweet tooth. She admitted to having a weakness for desserts and is currently obsessed with Royce chocolates. “I could demolish the box in one sitting, but I attempt to keep it to two squares at a go!” she admitted.
Zeenat concluded her piece by reflecting on a past insecurity around her lack of cooking skills. ” used to feel embarrassed that I can’t cook, but then I reminded myself that I’ve been putting food on the table for my family since my teens! That’s something too, right?” she wrote. By sharing their favourite healthy goodies and preferred delivery providers, she also urged her followers to join the discussion.
