The Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar is once again in news for all the wrong reasons as the pacer who was out of action for a long time because of injury has once again suffered an injury and he may have to remain away from cricket for quite some time.
Injuries have become quite a concern for the Indian cricket and what is more worrying is that few cricketers are suffering injuries on a regular basis which is not only affecting their career but it is also creating problems for their team.
Deepak Chahar plays an important role in CSK’s campaign of the IPL 2023 and it won’t be wrong to say that the team suffered a lot because of his absence in the last season as well. Everyone was hoping that his presence will help CSK in lifting the trophy this year but in the match against Mumbai Indians which was won by CSK, Deepak Chahar stretched his hamstring after bowling 5 balls in the match. Though he got the first aid from the team’s physio Tommy Simsek on the ground yet the pacer didn’t carry on bowling after bowling the remaining one ball of his over.
If you remember, Deepak Chahar was bought for Rs. 14 crore by the CSK management so the annoyed cricket fans left no stone unturned in trolling the pacer and made many tweets on the price he was purchased.
