Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant suffered injuries in a car accident on Thursday close to Roorkee, Uttarkhand, according to the authorities.
The cricketer was returning from Delhi when the accident happened, close to Hammadpur Jhal.
Pant has wounds on his forehead and leg, according to the medical professionals.
Police Superintendent Dehat Swapna Kishore Singh arrived at the scene after receiving the information.
At this time, Rishabh’s condition is stable, and he is being transferred from Roorkee to Delhi, according to Dr. Sushil Nagar, chairman of Saksham Hospital.
Rishabh’s car reportedly hit the railing, caught fire, and was seen by witnesses.
The fire was largely unsuccessfully put out.
Rishabh was taken to Saksham Hospital on Delhi Road concurrently after suffering serious injuries in the collision.
