Today at 12:19 PM, a message stating, “This is a SAMPLE TESTING MESSAGE sent through Cell Broadcasting System by Department of Telecommunication, Government of India,” was received by the majority of customers on the Airtel network. As there is nothing you need to do, disregard this message. The National Disaster Management Authority has forwarded this message to the TEST Pan-India Emergency Alert System. It seeks to improve public safety and offer prompt notices during emergencies.
