The man who gained fame through a widely shared Instagram video, Bhupendra Jogi, was reportedly attacked on Tuesday night by two masked attackers brandishing knives. When two young people attacked Jogi with knives, he was on his way back from his store in New Market.
He has received multiple stitches for serious cuts on his back.
On Tuesday night, at about 9 o’clock at night, entrepreneur Bhupendra Jogi was on his way home from his ready-made clothing store in Bhopal’s New Market. He was attacked with knives by the two young men wearing masks close to “Bapu ki Kutia,” which is in Roshanpura, close to the new market. Jogi’s hands and back sustained significant wounds from the attack.
The criminals made two attempts to attack him throughout the incident. He was attacked from behind the first time, and in the process of defending himself in the second attack, he seriously injured his hand, leaving severe scars on both his hand and back. He needed forty sutures during his treatment after that.
Worker Bhupendra Jogi recently became well-known on Instagram, amassing over two lakh followers following his “naam kya hai… As a meme, Bhupendra Jogi’s reel went viral on social media. Because of how much the internet enjoyed the viral movie, Jogi was even able to meet and recreate the meme with former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
