Actor Siddharth has found himself at the center of controversy after comments he made about Allu Arjun’s fans during an event in Patna. While speaking about the massive turnout for the trailer launch of Pushpa 2: The Rule, Siddharth appeared to take a dig at the superstar and his popularity.
Siddharth compared the crowd that gathered for Allu Arjun to people flocking to a JCB digging site, implying that such gatherings are commonplace and not indicative of true quality. He stated, “In our country, even a JCB digging site attracts a crowd. So, people gathering to see Allu Arjun in Bihar is not something extraordinary. If they organize, crowds will be there. In India, crowds don’t mean quality, if that is true, all political parties must win—it’s for Biryani packet and Quarter bottle.”

Allu Arjun’s fans were quick to express their displeasure. Many accused Siddharth of being envious of the Pushpa star’s overwhelming success, while others criticized him for belittling one of the country’s biggest icons. Social media platforms have been flooded with messages defending Allu Arjun and condemning Siddharth’s remarks.
The controversy comes as Allu Arjun celebrates the success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar. The film continues the saga of Pushpa Raj, delving deeper into his struggles in the red sandalwood smuggling world. Fahadh Faasil reprises his role as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, intensifying the rivalry with Pushpa.
