Aamir Khan Recalls The Problems Faced During Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar Shoot Because Of….

Aamir Khan’s Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar is widely regarded as a cult classic, continuing to captivate audiences with its gripping storyline and timeless songs. However, behind the scenes, the journey of making the film was far from smooth. Aamir recently opened up about the difficulties he faced during the shoot, revealing that certain actors created significant trouble on set.

Reflecting on the challenges, Aamir recalled that the film initially had a different cast and had to be reshot. The hurdles didn’t end there, as he shared that some actors displayed extremely unprofessional behavior. Recounting his frustration, he admitted that their conduct was unbearable and even suggested to director Mansoor Khan that they be replaced.

“The film was shot twice. We shot for 60-70 days in Ooty and Kodaikanal. We came back, and after two months, Mansoor called me and said, ‘Devika’s character is not working.’ At that time, Devika was played by another actress. She was a wonderful girl and a very good actress, but Mansoor felt she did not have the natural arrogance that the role required,” Aamir shared.

With the arrival of Pooja Bedi, the film underwent another major transformation as her character played a crucial role in the story. Despite all the behind-the-scenes turbulence, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar became a cinematic masterpiece, featuring an ensemble cast including Deepak Tijori, Mamik Singh, Ayesha Jhulka, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Imran Khan, and Kiran Zaveri.
