Aaradhya Bachchan, the daughter of Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is already a celebrity and many people are interested in knowing more and more about her so it’s quite obvious that media persons leave no stone unturned in gathering news about her.
However, the 11 years old girl is making news currently as she has moved to the Delhi High Court and filed a petition against some YouTube channels which have shown misleading content about her and her health.
After the hearing, the single-judge bench of Justice C Hari Shankar passed an order and restrained 9 YouTube channels from showing or publishing any information regarding Aaradhya Bachchan and her health.
Justice C Hari Shankar was pretty clear when he said that “every child is to be treated with honour and respect be it a child of a celebrity or a commoner” and dissemination of misleading information to a child especially as regards the physical and mental health is “completely intolerable in law”.
Senior advocate Dayan Krishnan appeared for Aaradhya and her father Abhishek Bachchan and said that though the girl is healthy school going kid who studies in Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai, some mischief makers have made videos on YouTube in which they are saying that Aaradhya is very ill and one of them has gone to the extent of publishing that she is no more in this world.
