False material is “unnecessary and insensitive,” according to star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who hopes the press does not “perpetuate” it.
The Delhi High Court banned many YouTube channels from posting false information on the health of Aaradhya Bachchan, the child of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, on Monday, noting the “morbid perversity” of doing so.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was asked about the irrelevant news information that damages people sentimentally and emotionally during the press conference for her next film “Ponniyin Selvan: II” during the press conference.
Aishwarya appreciates the media’s acknowledgment of the detrimental impact of inaccurate writing and needless writing, both of which are insensitive and unnecessary. This gives her faith that the media would not support and prolong it. She expresses gratitude to the media for recognising the damaging impact of incorrect and unneeded writing.
Aishwarya is now promoting “Ponniyin Selvan: II,” the second installment of Mani Ratnam’s film adaptation of 1955 Tamil novel of the same name penned down by novelist Kalki Krishnamurthy.
The film, which also stars Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha Krishnan, and Aishwarya Lekshmi, will be released in theatres throughout the country on Friday April 28.
