Ajit Pawar to replace Eknath Shinde as Maharashtra CM Sanjay Raut says

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut announced that Ajit Pawar, will soon  become  the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Pawar, who  is the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), will succeed Eknath Shinde, the current the Maharashtra CM. Raut also said 16 MLAs, who split from Shiv Sena, were disqualified along with Shinde.

He said this after Ajit Pawar became deputy CM and joined the Shiv Sena-BJP coalition.

Raut stated, “The Maharashtra Chief Minister will change, as Eknath Shinde is being removed from the position. He and 16 MLAs were disqualified.”

Raut said the BJP selected Ajit Pawar as part of their crisis management plan since 16 MLAs would lose eligibility. Raut predicted Ajit Pawar will succeed Eknath Shinde as Maharashtra’s chief minister.

According to Raut, “Although BJP is creating a rift between  Congress, Shiv Sena, and NCP, this will do them absolutely no good. We’ll fight together in Maharashtra. NCP politicians taking their oath at Raj Bhawan after PM Modi called them corrupt is surprising.”

In June 2022, the Shiv Sena split after Eknath Shinde’s MLAs rebelled over Uddhav Thackeray’s partnership with the Congress and NCP. Revolt split the party.

Raut had anticipated the dismissal of Eknath Shinde and the disqualification of the 16 MLAs after Ajit Pawar’s swearing-in as Deputy Chief Minister.

Sanjay Raut declared that NCP leader Ajit Pawar will succeed Eknath Shinde as Maharashtra’s Chief Minister. As 16 MLAs lost eligibility, the BJP selected Ajit Pawar as part of their crisis management plan. Shinde’s successor is Ajit Pawar. Statewide, the Congress, NCP, and Shiv Sena will contest. PM Modi charged the NCP leaders of corruption, therefore they swore at Raj Bhawan. Eknath Shinde’s mutiny separated Shiv Sena.
