The legendary former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is a happy man as his son Arjun Tendulkar got his first wicket in the IPL in the match which was played yesterday between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad. The match was played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, and MI won it by 14 runs.
Arjun Tendulkar impressed everyone with variations in his bowling and he also bowled Yorkers in the last over when he had to defend 20 runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was dismissed by Arjun Tendulkar on the second last ball of the SRH innings and with this, the whole team got out at the score of 178 runs in response to the target of 193 given by MI.
After the match when Arjun Tendulkar was asked about his achievement, he said that it was really great to get his first wicket in the IPL and he had to focus on the plan, its execution and what was in hand. He further elaborated that the team plan was to bowl wider and bring long boundary in use by making the batter play on the longer side. He further says that he loves to bowl and he is happy to bowl anytime the skipper asks, play as per the plan and give his best to the team. He added that he gave attention on his release, length, line and it was good if it swung but if it didn’t, then so be it.
Arjun Tendulkar also revealed the conversation he had with his father Sachin Tendulkar. He says that they talk about cricket, tactics before the game and he (Sachin) tells him to back what he practices in every game.
